Didya yet your free Disco CD with yesterday's Mail?

Personally I have been doing the electric boogaloo to 'Stand By Your Man' all weekend.

I am that this CD didn't include Blue Oyster Cult's Don't Fear The !!!

Do you mean the one that had Love Train - O'Jays on it? We had it a couple of weeks back as I believe they put them out at different times in different regions. I had most of the tracks already so ditched it.

Question though, do you think that often they are not the original hit tracks that somehow find their way on to these freeby CDs? One that we got last year definitely had some inferior recordings on it.

Yes I have noticed the dodgy quality of some of the tunes on the free CDs

Instead of the same old songs time & time again , I would much rather have a 3 track CD sample of a brand new album. (I believe David Gray did that kind of thing with his last record.)

Did I read on the R2MB that your local record shop has closed?
