Hi PG
Thought I'd let you know I'm taking a break from the R2 MBs for the next six weeks or so, while I sort out my entirely-self-inflicted eye problems. Yes, it's true, my vision has gone blurry from staring at one too many Galliano girls - but it was worth it!
Fortunately, H2G2 is easier on the eyes, so I'll still be making brief posts here a few times a week. (The library is closed Good Friday, Easter Sunday & Monday, and quite rightly too.)
I'd like to thank you for your support and friendship over the past five months. I hope you and Pondboy and Pondlad have a wonderful Easter, and may your skies be filled with kites.
Rich

Hi Rich
Nice to hear from you. We've been pretty flat out over the last few days but if you check out our website after the weekend you'll see that it's been worth it. Another Water Margin creation gracing the countryside!
I'm sorry to hear about your sight probs, it can be a real bummer. I have congenital Glaucoma and although there is nothing much wrong with my vision, apart from being a bit short-sighted, I only have sight in my right eye which means that I quite often walk into things on my left!
Thanks for your kind wishes, I hope you have a great Easter too. Have you got any plans?

Hi PG
Can't wait to see the latest update on your site. Saw the photo of PB with the bike and my immediate reaction was: Does he have a sister?!
My eye-strain has eased a bit today, which probably means (uh-oh) that my eyes are worsening to compensate for my bad glasses. Judging by the lenses I ended up with in the eye test, everything should be dazzlingly pin-sharp when I get the new pair.
We had one of our twice-yearly, seven-hour visits from my oldest sister (the 50-yr-old library manager) last Thursday, as it was my Mum's birthday.
Easter weekend, we should have a visit from my Aylesbury-based sister & kids. No doubt we will be confronted with several albums of photos from my sister's silver wedding trip to the French alps this weekend.
My 47-yr-old brother-in-law is most definitely a man in need of a digital camera, considering the number of photo albums he owns, all with the same pictures of the same alp, taken in consecutive summers! Of course, he also shot an entire roll of his motorbike in different stages of repair at the garage.
Is PL keeping in touch by e-mail? Hope he's having a fantastic time - not long till he's back, eh?
Rich
