Mostly these last few days I have been listening to Pondboy obsessing about the imminent arrival of his nice new motorbike. At least my crashhelmet is nicer than his.
The Bike arrives on Thursday, so I expect him to be spending his time doing Valentino Rossi (Monkeyboy) impersonations to the local motorists. O happy day.

Dear Pondgirl. Got to your website, courtesy of the link on BDG's page, which was most impressive. If I had a manse that had grounds larger than the size of a travel tissue, I would definitely come over the hill twixt Berks and Oxon to sample your wares!! Now I know why you spend so much time sweating over your Bought Ledger!
You are very brave, entrusting your person to a two-wheel velocipede! What does your crash helmet look like? When I come home, I can look out for it and take appropriate action!
Have a lovely day and hope that you have no more accidents with herons and your !

The motorbike sounds wonderful!
My parents (70 this year!)are still thinking that if they win the lottery they'll buy a Harley and go touring!
Your website is great - very impressive!
Must and get some work and other stuff done.
Catch you later somewhere in cyberspace!

Good morning PG !
It's Wednesday, and I think it's the 10 March.
Only one more day before the new bike arrives ?
Years ago we always had a motor bike. And big ones. In the time before crash helmets, we were stopped by the police because I was riding side saddle.
I tried to explain that because my skirt was so short and tight, I just couldn't straddle the bike.
But, they were having none of it, and with my skirt practically round my waist, we were allowed to resume our journey.
Oh the shame. And of course, as we didn't wear crash helmets, I always arrived looking like Alice Cooper, with my hair a tangled mess.
Oh, those were the days.
