Thought a pale blue background with dark purple writing. What do you think?

Should be OK - , something somebody said to me one time when I was writing a website, that the writing and the page colour shouldn't be from the same area of the colour pallett, as people who have very poor eyesight can't read it very well, as the colours just tend to merge.

Thank you for your comments about my website - I think that it could be used for a lot more than it is - and have loads of ideas of things to load, but it's upto the Groups to supply the information, and some of them just aren't computer minded at all! Some of them email me information and then send it in hard copy - I do get a tad upset at that - far too many trees are going to waste! Our Scout County are having a competition later on in the year for the best District/Group website - I would love to win (it is the winning that counts, not the taking part - whatever I may tell my Explorers! - )

For work I used to send paper copies of articles and other bits and pieces post-course. Now I import all the articles into a website, do an index page and burn it onto mini cd-roms - a lot more cost effective, both with resources and my time! I had a nickname at one time as teknotart! - although I must admit the code for this site has me flummoxed, as I write websites in English and it translates it all into HTML! But at some stage I will give it a go - other things are taking precident at the moment though!
