We've received a number of complaints regarding this thread from different Researchers. The Editors would like to draw your attention to the h2g2 House Rules, specifically the part which states:

"Please, no flaming or trolling. On h2g2, flaming means posting something that's angry and mean-spirited - the online equivalent of flying off the handle....

Unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive, or otherwise objectionable material is not acceptable."


We have neither the resources nor the interest to allow this kind of behaviour to continue. Therefopre, if this flame war does continue, we will have no alternative but to place the accounts of all participants on 'Pre-moderation mode'. This means that everything you contribute to the site has to be approved by a Moderator before it will appear on site. You can find out more about pre-moderation here:

We should also remind you that if you continue to breach the House Rules your account is at risk of being suspended or closed.

we will no longer fight as we requst that mr blue sky leaves my cousin and i to talk without anyone buttin in!

Ive stated what i would do if this person and another two researchers who come on here that keep mentioning my name i would go through the proper channels,im not going to respond to their posts,or even send them any posts but if they keep on i will put in a complaint about them,im not going to be put on pre-mod again,as you can see by my journal im not going to send anyone posts while this is going on,ive been advise what to do and if this still carrys on i intend to do what i was advised to do.

A few things we possibly need to remind you then:

1. h2g2 is not a 'chat-room'.

2. All of your postings to h2g2 are visible to anyone who wishes to read them, whether they're registered to h2g2 or not. Also, there are no 'reserved' areas. Anyone is free to post wherever they like, so long as they obey the House Rules. So if you do not want someone to see your conversation, don't post it to h2g2.

We would also remind everyone here that the 'Friends List' feature is supposed to be just that - a list of your friends. We cannot understand the logic in having someone on your friends list that you clearly don't like. We imagine that would just invite trouble.

ok thank you ed, i longer wish to ever hear from mr blue sky. i havent replyed to any of his posts and dropped sutal hints for mr blue shy to not write any thing in my cousin and i's convos.

Just would like to point out,this thread was started by me,so how can i have beutted in on out,go back to post one and you will see see that i started this thread and it was two other people who butted in on it,which they are entitled to do so,so how could i had butted in on this thread,and to be honest i may have butted in on your other conversations but that was only because as you say you was dropping sutal hints about me,but dont worry i dont in intend to send you or the other two people anymore posts,but ive made it vey clear what i intend to do if i ever see you and the other two people mmention my name or refer tr to my name,
i will go through the proper channels to have the posts removed,you and the other person could had stated another thread instead of posting on then this one,and also if the person i started this thread with didnt want to reply to any of my posts then they should have unsubscribe from it,so tell me why didnt they as far as i can make out this the thread was ok until you and another person butted in so, as i said why didnt you both start a new spread to the person i started this spread with,but dont worry im not going to but in in on any of your conversations or the other two people.

It has to be noted, you started the thread on someone else's Personal Space, which could be seen as posting knowing it would get a response.
