TRiG (Ireland) A dog, so bade in office

That's what it says in the first paragraph above this text input box, anyway. So perhaps it's rather depressing that all I'm writing about is my h2g2 name.

My login name to h2g2 is 'TRiG_Ireland'. That's what I see at the top of the screen. I recently discovered how to change the way my name is displayed and altered it to 'TRiG (Ireland)' followed by a remark of some sort. The first remark was a quote from Douglas Adams' The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul:

"I lost count somewhere in the mid-Glamorgan"

Isn't it just "in mid-Glamorgan"? I re-read "The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul" recently and don't remember a "the".

I was disappointed to discover that the Electronic Monk is not in "Tea-Time" but is in fact in "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency", of which I don't have a copy. I'd been looking forward to meeting him again.

You are, of course, correct. (Actually, it's Mid-Glamorgan: with a capital M).

High on a rocky promontory sat an Electric Monk on a bored horse.
