Hmm what have I wandered into?

Strangely enough I was reading the 25th anniversary edition of the Hitchikers Guide scripts when I came upon this part of the net. So I've signed up! (Stating the obvious).
There is a risk of postings by myself following the odd glass of red wine and a sort of stream of consciousness thing when the mood takes me.
Currently, I'm concerned with:
Why are cats (well, our cat) so fussy about tinned food. Is it to annoy us or are they true gourmets?
Where do I get a Dallas Mavericks basketball jersey in Orlando next week?
Does anybody else watch NYPD Blue?
I'll continue mulling these things over but am open to suggestions.
