Michaelmas, or the feast of St. Michael, occurs on Sept. 29th and was traditionally the 1st day of the fiscal year in mediaeval Europe. In the spirit of that, will try to begin with some housecleaning activities this week.
1st off: need to deal with Achilles. He is becoming a very rebellious young squire & I need to properly chasitise him without destroying his spirit (or course, I'm having the same problem with the CCD kids, too, and I haven't figured that out, either). Artemis seems to be making her transition to her new school seamlessly. Next, now that I've gotten the annulment papers (again), I think it's time to fill them out, turn them in, and at least entertain the possibility of feminine companionship again. It's been a long, long time, as the song goes. I'm so involved in parrish life now, what with CCD, RCIA, and now chairing the Lenten and Family/Community Relations committeees, as well as weekly (sometimes more frequent) mass. Actually, I'm looking forward to the future.
Ate dinner with Brian, the Acolyte, tonight: we're both going to the Market on Saturday. Should be fun.
Cheers!

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
