Hope everything is well and muddlin along okay and fings ticking over nicely...
I've been working the nightshift here n' there, and got quite tired and run down and a lil poorly but okay now
Not much happened to me whilst I was away...I worked, ate and slept some...the boy was good, and Geo is fine...quite uneventful really - which is all to the good.
I think whilst I've been offline I missed my hootoo birfdah
My proper birthday is on it's way tho at the end of this month...34...*ouch*
arrrrrrrgh....
I don't expect to catch up with stuff that has been going on, so if I've missed anything I apologise in advance..

MV LIVES!!
Good to hear from you... glad that you are hanging in there, and that Geo and the G-Force are well. I still have your holiday card on my door and think of you each time I see it.
Not much you've missed with me, either. I dislike my new job very much, but it's better than none and will keep me afloat until I can move along. K's still interviewing like a madman, so wish him lots of luck. Other than that, we're both fine and things have been pretty much business as usual in my neck of the woods.

Hi MV
I'm 34 this year too, what was awful though was trying to remember my age and deciding on 23! I think I was a bit out there!
Look after yourself, and get on here when you can.

Hi MV, I've been MIA a lot lately too. I'm rediculously behind and my left arm is cold for no reason. Hi everyone!

Ed, Pc and Hellie
Well it seems that overtime is taking off again, and I was called in today...shall be working the rest of this week, this weekend, next week, next weekend....
I have already worked Sat and Sun just gone so ...
13 days non-stop...
So will be online rather less again for the next fortnight or so... I'm looking forward to the extra money so we can join the YMCA and get G-force into a karate club.

You are working hard, I hope you treat yourself to something with the money. Karate should be great for the G force, let him work off that excess energy!

I'll miss seeing you around, but the overtime will pay off in other ways. Especially as you'd like that house one of these days.

Thanks Pc, I miss you guys too...

re Karate - my two 7 year olds started Tae Kwon Do last week. Some of the class are quite impressive. It's fun watching small children fight There's this one tiny boy who is constantly on the move, like Muhammed Ali. Then there's this guy who must be about 14. He looks half drugged, with hooded eyes, moves very slowly and with an open stance like a come-on. But as soon as anyone launches in, it's BIFF! BANG! POW! Swift kick to the back of the head!
I used to do Tai Chi - which meant I could defend myself against very slow attackers.

I'm in the middle of an 'interesting' experience just now. I'm filling in a form to renew my claim for Disability Living Allowance.
Now - I'm sure I could get by without the money - I don't need it as much as some claimants - and I'm not as ill as many (in fact, mostly well). But, hey! I'm entitled!. My CPN has advised me to fill it in to represent me at my worst, so I'm saying that I don't get out of bed or feed myself (or alternately) that I wander off and am in danger of getting into trouble, etc. etc.
The crying shame of it is that I am an articulate, middle class person who knows how to fill out a form in such a way as to play the system. Not everyone is so lucky!
