Awesome photos, MV! The one I like is the woman on the porch in the beginning of a storm... Oh, and the marine mammals. And the squirrel with the Reeses stuff.

Those are so cool! I thought the hippos were cute (I'm partial to pachyderms! ), but loved all of those photos.
Thanks, Vix!

Daisies, hippo's and bird song are the best ones. The others all have niggling faults with them that could have been cut out with a bit of processing. I have got some fantastic photos but have not put them on the web yet. I am going to have to do a bit of processing on them but once they are up I will let you know!
I had better be off! Nice bogie to eat! Crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle!

Candy for the eyes indeed! Interesting to note, though, that only two featured humans, and only the squirrel featured human artefacts. I tend to like my photos a little more human and/or grittier. (Despite which I do mainly flower close-ups myself) Check out this guy, who I discovered last year: http://www.czechslovakphotos.com/html/stano1.html
(Contains nudity - but of the artistic variety)
Do hippopotami count as 'livestock'? I'd have thought PC could get away with a couple as 'companion animals'. (Tangential diversion: German for hippopotamus is 'das Nilpferd' - literally 'Nile horse' - wheras our Greek word translates as 'horse of the river')

Lead singer of the Undertones (Teenage kicks? 80's punk?) who went on to a solo career.

Only in later years when he went solo and two of the other Undertones went on to form the under-rated 'That Petrol Emotion'.
In the Undertones' day, their fashion sense was more tank-tops, anoraks, polyester trousers and zits.

Go easy on them! It can't have been easy to find bondage trousers in Derry in those days. Like John Peel used to say of his own youth: 'The nearest place where you could get a shirt that wasn't white was Turin'

Brill photos, though.

Hey! You should have seen the green mucus I coughed up in the shower! There was loads and it was the richest green I have ever seen! I might take it to Homebase to see if they can mix me a paint the same colour!
