Yup I got some for him, shall supervise the putting it on tomorra morning...hopefully he shall pass the sniff test when he gets home, he was rather pungent again this afternoon after class.....he's rather excited about using grown up stuff....
As for blog I'm getting the walkabout itch, thinking about creating another blog. I like the look of Ed and Pc's blog spots thinking about going incognito to get some things of my chest..these days - because I have been too open on myspace with peeps that I know in RL and then there are the peeps that I know in here...I feel that I need another outlet...is that wrong? Do any of you have other outlets that you keep to yourself private like...but at the same time get em out in the open?
Mebbe spring fever has been a bit slow with me, and I am now feeling that urge to express, but at the same time....I need to do it with people whos feelings I do not yet know?
I dunno, I ramble....

Personally, i find all these separate blogs a total pain & have "lost" friends because of it, which hurts. But i can't keep track of who is on which site, my "marque pages" becomes a total mess & if/:when my computer dies (which it does often) i lose the lot!
Plus i like the way hootoo is a uniting thing; a common place where we all meet, if you go to Friend A's blog, you only get to squeak to their fiends; on here all sorts of newbies & other folks within the community can drop in.
I tend to use MSN & email for really personal stuff but keep using my journal EYE thread as a blog, the occasional post gets yikes but c'est la vie. It's a meeting place. And i can moan like hell about my own life; or rejoice or just simply witter on.

I reserve some of my more private comments for email or instant messaging, but other than that I pretty much talk about stuff on hootoo. I tried having a blog for a while and found it difficult to keep up with both. I can see though how a secret identity might be tempting Vix. But I will miss having input if you do. I like hearing about what my friends here are up to.

Sorry, Vix, but I'm with the later 2 Ladies. I have a LiveJournal account that I have used a few times, and been coaxed into dabbling with MySpace and Yahoo stuff. Lately, everyone and their puppy is inviting me to join FaceBook. I just don't have the time, or the memory for so many user ID's and passwords. Nor even really that much to say. So for personal or discrete stuff, MSN Messenger and e-mails do nicely.
If you simply wish to anonymously vent or purge, how about another account here? One that no-one really knows is you? Then you can fill journals with what-ever, see it on-line and KNOW that someone can see it. And yet be behind that shadowy veil ...

I have secret blogs all over the place. I completely understand the urge to anonymously and publicly vent. It can be very cathartic, and you get to meet great people sometimes too. I different blogs for different moods...

I have just one blog, and a MySpace page. I'm pretty much maintaining the MySpace (infrequently) in order to receive bulletins and stuff from various bands and film distributors, etc, rather than by email. I haven't used the blog function there, yet.
I don't have enough time online to maintain separate blogs for separate functions, so super-secret and personal stuff is relegated to email or IM, if at all. I do like having the ability to embed images and photos, as well as "real" links, at my blog.
I much prefer Blogger to Wordpress, for a number of reasons.
I still like h2g2 for random chatting, debate and serious discussions. There are far more people here to communicate with, and I don't have to be the one to start all the discussions.
PS- Good luck with the deodorant. Most kids do seem to be quite impressed with using/doing "grown up" things.

If anyone feels like IMing me for an inane conversation at any point, I'm on Myspace too.

Yup added you to the myspace thing SR..I don't actually blog too much on there, just the odd annoying questionnaire now and again...and posting of rude pictures at times
I feel that I would like to vent now and again, and I may take up the suggestion of another profile on here...or mebbe not....who knows....perhaps I shall just be too lazy to do so and just blog about it instead!
The deodorant was a success, G came home without BO..yay!
We worked more on his diorama...yeesh...I had to trim it down somewhat because it was getting wild and out of the box - and altho that's rather 'awesome' in his words, it doesn't make for easy transportation for the boy to get it to class.
Photos will be coming shortly....

Rude pictures? And I've been missing all of this? Maybe I should check out these blog thingies more.

My workplace blocks Myspace etc.
Mind you...I've recently stumbled upon a webmail service that's slipped through the net.

My workplace doesn't block blogs or MySpace, yet, though "personal web pages" are filtered (we have to use quota time, which shows up on a report of some sort). Streaming media are blocked completely as they use too many resources.
Apparently, though, our IT department don't monitor internet use via keystroke loggers or anything- they don't have the time. As long as I don't bring a virus into the network, I'm free to play when I have the time.
Congrats on eliminating G-Force's B.O., Vix!

I work as a contractor for the Canadian military. Their IT systems actively filter and block any of the commonly known e-mail and blog/log services. For a time, I was able to use one that I found, but eventually they closed it out too.
But if anyone is looking for a simple, free, web-mail service ... check out fastmail.fm .... They have a list of sub-server names as long as a lumberjack's arm. Many not known or blocked by some folks.

We get quota time too, but collectively for the dept...which means we get an hour per 12 hours or something...usually by 9am theres 10mins left...

Geeeez, that's barely time enough to log in to an "adult" site, ... let alone browse.
I should add the disclaimer of "or so I am told ..."
