Christmas

Christmas, once more, is over. So much anticipation, so easily forgotten. One thing about having children is how Christmas is more enjoyable in terms of appreciating how they enjoy it, yet less enjoyable because it's difficult to do what we used to do before we had kids, i.e. go out every night on the p**s. However, that's not to say we didn't have a good time. Friends came and stayed and we went out and had a couple of meals, our works do, a pantomime, a trip on a steam train, posh Christmas lunch out in a pub - hey, it's starting to sound quite good, I'll stop moaning. New Year Resolutions: try the atkins again, make more money with my home business, have more sex, buy a new car, help all the poor and starving of the world. Guess which of those I won't achieve.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
