I'm slightly curious whether this will work. Someone must have yikesed the question left on my space while I was in the middle of answering it because both the Q and A vanished. The way threads get hidden has changed a little but I know that the reply succeeded even though it isn't visible. I don't think I've tried to post on a moderated space before - certainly not recently since the last lot of software changes. So now's as good a time to find out as any since I happened to have copied the original before posting into what turned out to be oblivion:
======
OK taking the name and question at face value:
They must have found out you were suspended pending a banning somehow. There was no proper community notification that I saw. I found that significant at the time since it is part of the transgressions procedure that there should be one and I am signed up to at least some of the plausible pages. I only noticed some days later because of another conversation and was consequently slightly disgusted that it was apparently being kept quiet - as well as at the lack of evidence being presented against you. Note that this does *not* make me a supporter of yours - merely someone slightly more objective!
As it happens I then had to post that you were not respecting the ban because you actually came in to conversations I was in and made a big deal of it. See what I mean about being objective - although I couldn't condemn whatever it is you were supposed to have done I certainly couldn't condone you not following the process properly. It was also rather significant that such a process had not even been started by the staff for someone else who had not done *anything* wrong at all.
Getting back to those people who had already found your banning page, I assumed that some at least were your friends whom you had told yourself. Others were presumably your enemies who were trying to get you banned in the first place. Anyone else (and I know at least one I would regard as relatively neutral and not a bad ACE at all) must have found out by some other means. The ACE forum does seem an obvious place for this off-site notification of people who might be expected to vote against you to have taken place. However, I do not know that any such discussion took place there. I could easily have missed other places around h2g2 which drew their attention just as mine had eventually been drawn. So I could regard it as suspicious but not at all proven.

Well it's visible for now. So that's one slight doubt settled. That doesn't mean it will stay visible of course...

"you go on to much half the time" + "borin tonite eh?"
That must be me then.
"what do you think about me joinin the acehood clan lol"
Some people seemed to think you might already have done that. If you haven't, then I'm not convinced you could fake the necessary sycophancy and upgrade your posting quality enough to make it. It would certainly be pointless to try with a name which has already been seen! I also can't condone you doing it anyway. Besides which, why would you want to join a group of people which some of us already know contain people we despise and some others who tolerate and encourage them?

I don't believe being "posh" is an issue. Giving away your identity, either directly or by posting style is though!
As far as I'm concerned the staff have not justified banning you - especially given the people they retain and even support. Very suspicious that. However, that isn't to say that you shouldn't have been banned either. So I can't ignore it to the extent of, say, posting on your behalf (not that you seem to need anyone to do that).
As far as I know you can't vote in a thread (eg on Yahoo) *before* it goes out on h2g2. Though it would be possible to post on one dna site and have the thread moved to another site or article. It has also not been shown that there was any organised pre-voting - certainly not connected with the ACE group. The most suspicious bit is the way the ban discussions page was *not* advertised. Those people who turned up could have told each other by email just as easily as via Yahoo. Some could also have found it by following others or searching.
I don't understand your reference to teamaids.
I agree with you that the running of this site and many of the people on it are not deserving of respect. They gave up any right to respect by being repeatedly dishonest.
I'm still me. I have yet to become anyone else. Sometimes people on telephone support lines do that - ask who I am and then ask again some minutes later as if I'd somehow changed my identity during the call. Why did they bother to ask the first time if they weren't going to pay attention.

I don't know why someone yikesed your posts. They haven't completely gone yet - just pending (which can last for days). They were confusing in the way you were quoting people without using quote marks though. So I suppose someone could be blaming you for appearing to say something which someone else said but for which they didn't get yikesed - unless there was some AWOL copyright stuff in there.
The staff/moderators/sycophants are completely out of control as far as I'm concerned. They even yikesed some simple morse code - claiming it was advertising. You've got to be pretty stupid, ignorant and/or nasty to do that.

Anyone on a normal computer can use the yikes button (logged in or not). That includes the staff. Only digibox users have to use intermediaries. Usually it would then go to the contract moderators who may or may not make a decision. Regardless of that it is supposedly referred to the staff anyway (may rate merely a glance or be flagged for more thought). However, the staff can bypass this process anyway.
So ultimately all wrong decisions *are* down to the staff but the decision may be influenced by the source and wording of yikesing. Otherwise there is no way that Symphony would have been banned on no evidence. Someone really mean whom the staff have the poor judgement to trust must have suggested she was a previously banned researcher.
No random person is likely to wander into a message and yikes things. So the likely suspects are anyone subscribed (posting or not) or anyone stalking those who are subscribed. They need not even appear online though I expect they often will.
