It sounds as if he managed a certain amount of the 'wild' areas of Ireland - albeit of the indoor variety.

I went more for windy, than wild.
I certainly enjoyed myself, saw some very interesting things, mostly of the old and solid variety and enjoyed a fair few pints of stout. Definately somewhere else to get back to, if only to get rid of all the Euros I now have.

A return trip is definately on the cards, a longer visit, when the weather is better, and we haven't just been on a three day drinking spree
