I felt I really should have a look at this new affair. I'll pass judgement until I've practised a little. Can we still delete conversations? And what on earth happens to smileys between being zapped and appearing in a post? I don't know if my stamina is adequate! I see that Christiane has been ill; is there any news of her? I've just shouted "Hi!" to Nigel, hope he remembers who I used to be!

Thanks for email. I am still using the old site as there are so many problems with the new one. it is a shame because it looks nice. Will have to wait and see what happens.

You got there in the end anyway. Haven't tried the new site for a while, it has garbled my Personal Space beyond recognition so I leave well alone. It also screws up text on posts!!

This looks more familiar. I'll give it a while just to see how we go. I'd like to arrange for rain, just a gentle but continuous drip from 22.00 to 08.00 every day, so I shouldn't need to water the garden. Anybody here got Influence?

I would like some of that too Ladydig but I feel sure we are going to have an 'all or nothing' year again!
I have never understood why the 'weatherperson' cannot arrange the rain to fall overnight, it would be so much more convenient

I mowed the lawn today and the dust got up my nose too!! The poor badgers can't find any worms it is so dry and the lawn has bald patches - where they have tried digging!!
