the brain fights back?
MoFoLo Started conversation Jun 18, 2006
I am thinking that the brain tries to continue working normally even when outside influences is shutting it down. Bonnie is going through a phase where when I tell her to buckle her seatbelt she tries to understand what I am telling her but cannot. She will look around, push the lock down, or say, "Okay I am ready." She has gone through this before a couple of times and later, maybe a day or so, she has no problems responding correctly. Hopefully, she will respond again soon.
Some days she is mellow and other days she keeps repeating the same thing over and over. All she wants to do is go for a ride. But now time is appearing to be meaningless. She may ask to go for a ride 9PM or even later. Some times I can tell her we can't a couple of times and she quits; other times she is so repetive that she will walk out of the room and back in again under a minute and do this on end. I either have to shout at her to make her quit or just make the effort and take her for a short trip. 6.17.2006 or 17-06-06 MoFoLo

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
