This morning while walking into work, a deer ran across the road not ten metres in front of me and as it skipped gracefully out of sight, I was struck by how wonderful and beautiful nature is and overcome by a sense of tremendous well being. About a hundred metres further on I came across the bloated and distended body a dead badger, crawling with flies and maggots. Isn’t it funny how the world sometimes turns around and catches you being happy for the simplest of reasons and so, throws a dead badger at you just to give you some perspective?
I’m dead busy today, so I’ll write about my weekend a bit later in the week. I just thought it was worth sharing that uplifting thought with the world.
