i would just like to inform you that as a dunfermline athletic supporter i take offence at your comments about the quality of play at east end park. (i say this even though i was in the crowd at last year's 6-0 thrashing at the hands of kilmarnock. that was a bad day)

Agreed. And not content with a derogatory comment on The Pars (nickname of DAFC) the article contains a howler on 'Dunfermline Glen'. I think I am right in saying that Pittencrief Park was a private estate which the young Andrew Carnegie used to sneak into. Once he had made his fortune in the states he purchased the estate and then gifted it to his native town.
