Dear Peter
When I started sending in contributions last year you kindly came to the resque when I sent out one SOS after the other about the remove-message.
Last night when I sent in another contribution, I saw to my delight that an explanation is given beforehand. Wise move!
May I ask you another question? When you press the 'save' button, it says some time may lapse before the article is accepted. Last night't story went through without a second's pause.
Can the people at the editorial desk read the article while I am typing it in, perhaps while I am reviewing it?
The article about "Auschwitz and the Prince" díd take quite a while before it was accepted.
And is there someone I could talk to about the "Auschwitz and the music" programme on the BBC. I found the opening disturbing.
I am looking forward to your reply, but am in no desperate hurry.
Regards. Rose

Dear Rose
I have not seen any of the website's programming code, but I would have thought that a short delay is inevitable particularly where, unknown to you, several members are posting at once. I occasionally post answers on a Windows XP discussion forum and there is the same sort of delay there with no human intervention.
So far as I can see, the WW2 Editorial Team can be several weeks in arrears. The first to see the contributions are the Monitors, but even their scan could be a few hours in arrears.
Kind regards,
Peter
