The interesting message by Patricia August is marred by, for some reason, for several repetitions of the same material. Probably somethng wrong with a computer.

Could you give me either the link or some indication where the story is? I've tried a search, but without result.
From what you say, however, it sounds like a problem for the WW2 Team.

The title is The London Blitz. It is Article ID 2287794. Created 11 February 2004.

Got it (them)! 'Sheltering Down the Tube' was first posted here, in error, A2284625 at a Research Desk; then here A2287785 ; then finally under a diffent title 'The London Blitz' correctly at the Editorial Desk here A2287794.
Only Patricia August can delete the two wrongly submitted entries A2284625 and A2287785.
So there is nothing wrong with the computer after all
All the best,

I think you misunderstand.
I was not referring to duplications of the whole message but rather that within the single message that I read there were repetitions of the same sentences.

That's clearly a matter for the Editorial Desk to sort out, or for the writer to edit herself.

Oh. I thought that by alerting you to a possible problem, that would be the route whereby the Editorial Desk would get to know of it.

LOL, no. I'm just a contributor and voluntary researcher Harry
But I'll link this to let them know.
Cheers
