Dear Stan,
I note that you are seeking information about your late brother who was a member of 166 Sqdn. Sadly I cannot help you, but I am also interested in 166 Sqdn as one of the men who is commemorated on my local War Memorial (which I am researching) was in 166. His name was Thompson Rodgers, and if you have any broader information about 166 Sqdn which would help me find out about him I would be grateful for any assistance which you can give me.
Regards
Simon Bull

On re-reading your message I see it was addressed to Stan.
Not-withstanding that, my offer of help still stands and I will come back to you later

Could you first confirm that the Thompson Rodgers you refer to was Ft.Sgt.T.A.Rodgers who was killed on 24/12/44 ?
