There are 142 people in the MotMV (including the three people I haven't added to the list yet) and you are number 43. To remove you from the list would involve altering the numbers for almost 100 people, and that's too many and too boring a thing to do for something so petty and for something that nobody will ever notice anyway.

You don't like that Yael is back in the tearoom? Fine, don't post there. That's my policy and I stick to it. I want her and Dan back there for one good reason; I want us all to put this whole thing behind us and move on. I want you and Jack back there too. Yeah, Yael and Dan made mistakes and said and did some pretty stupid and inconsiderate things, but you know what? They were mistakes. They're not bad people and you know it.

Sometimes we have to forgive people and move on, and if you're unwilling to do that then I'm sorry. I want to be your moderately affable acquaintance again, and Jack's too. And Yael's, and Dan's. I'm sorry if you don't want to be.

And I'm sorry if this post makes you dislike me, but I care about you and this is the best advice I can come up with.

*takes a deep breath*

They took Jacks words and twisted them so that they could use them to back up their own argument (how would you feel if someone used Beck against you?)

This upset both Jack and I, and also made jack feel uncomfortable about talking to them.

Uncomfortable. I believe thats where we started, I believe that is why both Yeal and Dan threw their weight around in the first place because they didn't want people feeling uncomfortable.

Yet they don't give a damn that they've made Jack so uncomfortable that he's left. To use a phrase of Deb's 'Do as I say and not as I do'

No I don't want to be friends with people who have double standards like that, and I'm surprised you do considering how much they have berated your's and Beck's relationship in the past.

I've made a lot of mistakes in my short life. There are many things that I said or did that I wish I hadn't. And those mistakes affect me a lot, they eat away at me constantly. I like to be forgiven for those mistakes when I make them, so I forgive other people readily for the mistakes they make. I don't need any bible-speak 'Do onto others...' to do that, it's just my nature. So that's why I did it.

Yeah, Yael and Dan made some pretty stupid mistakes and they hurt you pretty bad, so I can understand you not wanting to forgive them. But I hold out in hoping that you will some day and that this can all be put behind us and we can go on some other crazy adventure in that tearoom. It may not be for months or years, but hey, people have held out hoping for less likely things for longer than that.

As for the rest of the stuff about Yael and Dan, there's no need to preach to the converted. Beck is right, sometimes they're so blinded by their own problems that they fail to see other people's. Yael's journal this morning annoys me because she's feeling sorry for herself when she should be feeling sorry for you. It strikes me as vain and self-serving. But I don't feel like fighting over it anymore. Then again, all I really feel like doing is crawling into a hole and sleeping for the next 11 days.

Anyway, I hope that Jack is feeling somewhat better. And I hope that I haven't made you mad at me again.

I'm not mad at you

But I cannot forgive and forget, especially as they are hypocrites, since their reason for starting all this was that people shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable, and thats excatly what they have made Jack feel, show my the justice in that? Thats what I meant by 'Do as I say and not as I do' Meaning it's ok for them to make other people feel uncomfortable, just as long as noone else does it. And now it just seems to me that everyone is dancing to their tune. As for mistakes, seems a certain someone has a habit of doing that everytime they open their mouth.

As for the journal
Neat get out clause that, "oh I asked you to forgive me 3 times and you won't so its your problem now, and I no longer have to take responsibility for what I've done" *shakes head*

They didn't set out to make people uncomfortable, just as we didn't when we were messing about in the tearoom. We stand by what we did in the tearoom even though it caused this whole thing. When they apologize for making you and Jack feel uncomfortable, and they have done many times, you accuse them of double standards. They didn't mean to cause offence, and they've apologised for doing it. Trust me, they genuinely are sorry. You're probably too angry or upset to realise that now, but I hope that one day you will.
