If you read the journals and look at the conversations I'm in, you'll get a fair idea of who I am. That's the way h2g2 works...

Just quickly, if you'd like to be 'jamie' rather than 'jamie_s', go to 'preferences' and you'll find a space to change your nickname. You'll still sign in as 'jamie_s', but you can have whatever nickname you want.

Also just quickly - could you please write things in full as much as you can? There's a lot of people here - including me - who don't speak English as their first language. Txt-type abbreviations are *really* hard to understand sometimes. (Incidentally, everything you write on h2g2 can be read by everyone - including people who aren't even signed up to h2g2.) Another thing before I get back to work - this isn't a chatroom. There are some places that are more like chatrooms than others; if you want that sort of thing, ask someone who used to use LD and they'll know where they are. I don't know, myself, but then I never used LD. And I've not much idea of what a digibox is either; we just don't have them here.

Jamie is what is called a Geordie, a native of Newcastle ... yes, Janine, I know ... but, it's generic.
Anyway, Geordies aren't very good at the English language. Plus, Jamie was hopeless with his exams.
