You mean to tell me you haven't encountered a haggis in your life B'el?
Venus I apologise for the obvious confusion caused to your dear self but I thought even an Englishwoman would have known that line from a Rabbie Burns poem....

Hi Arty,
Your first post reminds me of one of those well-known misheard song lyrics:
The song "Tonight I celebrate my love for you" is better known as "Tonight I sellotape my glove to you".

Oh, the infamous haggis again I googled for that a while ago, found the following on scotsman.com then asking people to hunt for it, and today, I found this : The Great Scottish Haggis Hunt has finished
The Haggis Hunt season has ended. Peace descends once more on the haggis moors. Our ghillie, Farqhuar Farqhuarson, has slunk back to his hunting lodge with his meuran until 30 November.
Sponsored by:
Thank you for hunting with us. We will shortly be picking the winners from all the sightings reported. This season we were kindly sponsored by Balblair Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky and Walkers Shortbread who provided many of the prizes. Our Grand Prize of a two night luxury break was provided by
the Gleneagles Hotel, Perthshire.
Do not be too despondent at the season's close. There are only 10 months until the hunt begins again. Until then, why not familiarise yourself with the terrain by studying our webcams? Or maybe leaf through our Haggisclopedia to hone your hunting skills further.
There are some pictures, all of which look like a duck-billed platypus to me

Yeah a bit like Queens Bohemian Rhapsody...Spare him his life from his pork sausages! Titanic theme tune..The hot-dog will go on.. Sausages,hot-dogs and Haggis..all this is making me hungry..

That would be great
All we can buy here, is paprika crisps, some with cheese flavour, there's nothing in the way of flavours we bought in England - and the size of the crisp bags was amazing -we had never seen anything like that before

Do you remember the hedgehog-flavoured crisps from the 1970's/80's?
They had an odd flavour - a bit like pork.
I always thought they tasted funny. Perhaps they were spiked?

Excellent my dear friends.I enjoyed that bit of conversation between us all.Brilliant,really..but I'm forced to remove this from my page as it's causing half my personal space to be scrambled into complete and utter gobbledegook.Or is that just the whisky? You can of course still contribute to it if you so wish
