I can see it far enough, Christmas that is, and the farce that it is. It should be scrapped!
It comes around all too quickly for my liking.

Oh dear, what can I say I wish there was something I could do about it, but alas, there isn't. But you'll be in my thoughts, and I hope we'll meet in January

That may not happen B'El, I can't look forward till tomorrow never mind January. This Christmas will hit me hard and I'm not looking forward to it

Maybe your right Claudia I didn't even expect an answer and posted out of boredom really, nice to see you can still come here now and then. I've a lot to get my head round , my apologies for the negative attitude

Don't apologise for feeling down I'm glad I had the chance to come online for a few minutes, but must leave now for a school event You know my email, I check it whenever possible, so if you feel like talking, I'll be there, just the answer could take a while

Hiya G.
I'm sure this christmas is not going to be like any other for you All you can do is get through it, and plan something good to look forward to next year.

Please excuse this intrusion, Monsieur. Venus and B'Elana have both spoken so well of you, frequently. And I am aware of some of what this past year has dealt you. You've perhaps seen me about, and if you have, you'll know I'm not a flighty one. You are always welcome to call, chat, air the mind a bit ... Yay or nay, I do wish you a peaceful and somehow joyful Christmas season. In any way that may work for you.

Hi Arty, good news : I have my notebook back. No idea what was the cause, so may be off any time again but hey, I'm here now

Thank you all so much for the kind words. I would have answered sooner but I accidently unsubbed, easily done on a digibox.
I'm very lucky to have friends here that care Till now, I have kept what I'm about to write to myself( with the exception of a few close friends ), simply because I thought it wrong to share such sadness with all of you.
Some of the closer friends I have here are aware of what has brought on my 'depression' if you like, I can call it that, yes, but even now after almost three months the feelings are more like numbness and helplessness.
On September 22nd of 2005, I lost my partner, Julie Rose Mc Cormack (god rest you sweetheart)
Julie and I had been together for eleven years. She was everything to me and I'm thankful for the time we spent together. Julie was only thirty eight years old when she left and had so much to live for. I know I'll always, always love her dearly. It's in my thoughts that some day, maybe, if I can in my lifetime be half as wonderful a person as she was, that I may be allowed to be reunited with her once again.

On reflection, my post does not make any real sense, I wasn't really thinking straight when I originally posted, so anyway, of course I'll try to make the most of Christmas, I used to love this time of year.
So to friends here on h2g2, old and new, thank you once again for being here for me
Arty

Dear Arty,
Oh God that is awful, I had no idea. And so young - if just isn't fair. There is not a lot anyone can say but I do hope you have family and friends who will be there to help you through Christmas.

Thank you for those kind words Carole, if it wasn't for family and friends I don't know where I'd be. I'm fortunate in that respect

I am so pleased to hear that - I hope your Christm as will be tolerable because of them and that the New Year will be the best it can be in the circumstances. I join everyone else in wishing you love.
