Thanks for your message. I have to say I like your name, I write a lot of animal poetry but so far I have not mused on the idea of a baboon, but one who boxes appeals to me enormously.
I cannot remember what attracted me to your site but looking at your dancing fowl who sings as a sideline makes me realise you know of the versatility of the animal member of the species.
Best wishes,

Hello Boxer,
Have you had a good day fighting? I do hope so, there is nothing better than a good scrap late in May. In my animal poetry my kangaroo is a bit of a scrapper, he has attitude and considers himself the best of the bunch. You alpha males -- make good subjects for verse. Do you have any other interesting hobbies, like flower pressing and needlecraft?
Whatever others hobbies are mine are observing them.
Best wishes,

Good morning Boxer,
So it's thump whack hit ouch is it?

and when you diversify to watch films what are they?
I've been a little filmless lately since my wee dog Muffin ate the remote control....
now there's a dog who likes fighting particularly biting off more than he can chew, he like savaging rotts, great danes and alsations, he is fearless, do you think he'll grow out of it Boxer ?
best wishes,

Dear Mr Boxing Baboon,
How can you box without an opponent, do you shadow box?
My mother is looking after my wee dog Muffin, she says he is stubborn, unruly,a law unto himself and he has been headbutting his toy donkey.
Whatya think?
Are you enjoying the football and this sunny weather?
Best wishes

Hello Boxer,
Hope the heat isn't getting you down and I'm glad you've given up on boxing, please don't tell me you're going into bloodsports.
An update on Muffin.:
He has learnt the art of rugby and football over the last two days.
I can't have him back for a few weeks because I'm recovering from an operation and he will leap on it.
You can see a picture of Muffin under the heading Carol Ward The Latest
found on the bbc's black country website. Time for

Hello Boxer,
Well how are you enjoying tinderbox Britain?
I've been busy also, trying to stay cool, and taking Muffin early morning walks through the urban forest, sometimes as early as five in the morning.
doing a lot of writing including a bit of nonsense about a boxing baboon. Can't imagine where I get my inspiration from.
