'Our Invasion will continue but there is a vast error' the Golden Supreme Dalek grated.
'I do not understand?' grated the Black Dalek as it looked to golden creature.
The Supreme Dalek looked to the smaller Black Dalek by its side. Was this subordinate so pathetic?
It resumed its attention to the vast circular table before it.
'The Doctor, as an enemy to the Dalek race, his presence will continue to destabilise our plans. He must be stopped!' it grated.
'RRRAAAAHHHHGGGGG!!!!!!' came a vast deepened screech from down the metallic hallways, followed quickly by more vicious screeches.
'Keep back! Keep back! RRRRaaaaahhhgggg!' screched the Supreme Dalek as the figure advanced on it.
'You must finally have driven yourselves insane, to even contemplate for one moment that I would drop to that level is beyond belief?' the Doctor snapped both astounded and shocked as the figures surrounded him.
'This crime will not go unpunished, the Doctor is an enemy of the Daleks! He will be exterminated!' threatened the Black Dalek.

ENEMY OF THE DALEKS
EPISODE ONE:
The light sparkled throughout the darkened room, a round circle of light sitting flat, staring up at the ceiling.
It was not a table but a circular map. A standard design for the race that used such devices. On the dim circle there were various lines denoting continents of some sort while electronic symbols flashed up in green.
One being stood there in the darkness, One vast being, the light reflecting off its vast shining surface. Metallic and watching from the cold light of its eye upon the surface of the map.
Behind it two doors slid open and framed from the light of the corridor outside stood a gleaming creature. Twin arms projected from its front, while a flexible shaft penetrated from a dome, its colour was black.
'Supreme Dalek, the prisoner has arrived and is being taken to a holding cell' reported the Black Dalek.
'Excellent. Now that that inferior creature is contained, we can commence with the final affairs following our Invasion' grated the deeper voice of the large Supreme Dalek.
The Black Dalek now virtually unseen glided to the side of its leader and looked down at the map.
'He has requested an audience with you to discuss his place within the Dalek race' the Black Dalek grated.
The Supreme turned to look at the Dalek beside him, his iris re-focussed on the creature.
'His place within the Dalek Race is nothing. He is the enemy and will soon be dealt with. His crimes are high and his sentence is death, no one can stop the Daleks!' the Supreme grated.
'There is however one such error that threatens to disable our plans' he said as he glided around the table to face the Black Dalek.
'What error is this?' the Black Dalek asked and the Supreme looked to Dalek and wondered why it was so slow and pathetic?
'The Doctor, he is an influence that will affect our plans. In any of his regenerative forms he threatens our existence as Supreme rulers! He will be taken care of' the Supreme grated.
'The Doctor is nothing. We will triumph, now that the prisoner has been taken there are no obstacles to halt our advance!' the Black Dalek added.
Just then a screen came alive on a communications console.
'This is Central Control to Black Dalek' came the voice.
The Black Dalek glided across towards the console and pressed the switch.
'Speak?' it ordered and the Dalek facing it reported back quickly, however there seemed to be a strange cackling growl of someone shouting loud.
'The Prisoner has been brought to Central Control' replied the Dalek subordinate.
'Explain?' the Black Dalek demanded.
'The Prisoner caused a serious quantity of damage to holding cell. The Prisoner ceases to Obey Dalek commands' the Dalek grated.
'The Order has been given for his extermination, I will supervise' the Black Dalek replied.
'We Obey' reported the Dalek and the screen went blank, turning away it looked to the Supreme Dalek.
'Davros has served his purpose, his contribution to our development has been made. He will be exterminated, ensure that nothing remains of his form!' the Supreme replied.
'I Obey' grated the Black Dalek and swivelled away towards the doors. There came a whirring as they slid up revealing the grey interior of the corridor beyond.
'The Doctor has interfered time and time again in our plans, he and Davros are the obstacles in our path of control. With Davros removed the Doctor remains! He will exterminated throughout all his regenerations!' the Supreme grated triumphantly looking to the map.
Suddenly there came a strangely distorted noise, glancing about the room it caught sight of a figure moving in amongst the darkness.
'Stop! Identify yourself?' the Supreme ordered but the figure flittered about in the shadows quickly.
'Stop this! Who are you?' grated the Dalek but suddenly the movement stopped.
It was a humanoid figure; no Dalek could or would act this way? However, since it was dark, it could not see the being.
Suddenly there came a flash of light from the doorway and as the Supreme adjusted its iris, it could see damage had been sustained.
Gliding towards the door, it was surprised and shocked to that the door failed to open and that the door control had been destroyed... aged to non-existence! Suddenly it realised movement approaching, from behind!
'Keep back! Keep away!' screeched the Supreme Dalek as it turned around, there came a flash of silver before its eye and then suddenly everything went dark.
Sparks flew from the exposed nerves and cables as the eyestalk dangled from the dome. Never before had the vast creature ever felt so scared.
It wheeled around, frantically firing at anything and everything in hope of hitting its enemy?
'Get back! Stay away from me! Stay back!' the creature screeched but quickly and swiftly the Supreme cried own again as it felt its arm circuit cease to function.
It was now becoming serious, as it heard its gun crash to the ground hard; all it had left was its manipulator. A Supreme Dalek had no self-destruct unit, there was never any need for one?
'Help me! Help? Keep back!' the creature screamed, back itself into a corner.
Suddenly there came a hefty push and Supreme was blindly lurched forward against something hard.
'Rrrraaggghhhh!' the Supreme screeched as it suddenly felt pain, pain invading its life support unit and soft mutant flesh.
'Keep back! You will be exterminated!' the Supreme screeched but the attacker continued with another hefty stab, plunging the weapon in and twisting it about.
'Rrrrraaaaagggghhh!' came the partly muffled screech down the metallic corridor as the Black Dalek glided down it.
As it turned in towards the door, it failed to open.
Turning towards a communications console the Black Dalek pressed a switch.
'This is the Black Dalek Commander, there is an error with doors to Supreme Chamber' the Dalek grated.
'Rrrrriiiiaaaauuuggghhhh!' came the vast metallic scream of the Supreme.
Shocked by what had happened it looked to the door and realised that the door was immune to their firepower.
'There is an attack on the Supreme Dalek, bring cutting equipment immediately!' ordered the Black Dalek.
'We Obey' came the immediate, panicky response.
Turning about, the Black Dalek glided towards the door, trying the locking switch but the door refused to open.
It could hear strange movements occurring within the room but of the Supreme there was no sign?
It felt tormented and scared and equally panicky, for one of their own to be under attack but their leader? It rattled its gunstick towards the door!
Around the door stood the Black Dalek, many silver Daleks, and a Red Dalek while an engineer Dalek stood there, its manipulator was a vicious red-hot cutter.
It was forming an arch through the silver sealed door; sparks flew on the other side as it finally reached drew the line.
'All Daleks, prime weapons!' ordered the Black Dalek and as the Engineer backed away, the Black Dalek glided forward, pushing the door forward onto a squelching mess.
As the Black Dalek glided through, weapon, as the ready it became aware that there was no movement of any kind.
As more Daleks glided through, the Black Dalek signalled to the others.
'Caution! The intruder is still within the chamber. Activating lights' the Black Dalek grated and pressed the correct switch.
As the lights came on, all Daleks stared in horror at the sight before their eyes: Green slimy trails of flesh and twisted metal hung in clumped patched all around the room. Even across the light switch!
Turning, the Black Dalek stared at the shell of the Supreme. It was fractured, torn apart and from the edges dripped liquid. Purples entrails lay twisted across the War map.
The Supreme Dalek had not just been killed but ripped apart!
'The Supreme Dalek! It is dead!' the Black Dalek squawked abruptly and wheeled around to face the others, its eye blazing hatred.
'Locate the intruder, exterminate on sight!' it ordered.
'We Obey!' grated the many silver Daleks and they started to glide around the room, their eyes looking into every corner they could find.
The Red Dalek joined the Black Dalek glancing up at their dead leader. It felt many things- hatred for creating such an attack.
'What is that?' the Dalek asked pointing to something lying amongst the casing.
The Black Dalek looked closer, adjusting its vision significantly to see something projecting from the remains of the Dalek creature.
A shining, silver blade!
Inside the grandiose monitoring room, chaos was ensuring while the monitors strove to contain the disaster.
'Sir?' called one of the lowly operators and immediately a woman in cream and blue robes stepped forwards to the console.
'Go ahead technop' the woman instructed and he nodded.
'We are detecting a massive alteration in established continuity, the scale of it is rebounding of the vortex' the operator reported.
Leaning closer towards the screen, she could see the representation of the vortex starting spin in another direction.
'Can you isolate the distortion, locate the exact event in which alteration took place?' she asked.
'I shall endeavour Ma'am, precise temporal co-ordinates located. Time scanner identifies source of alteration: Planet Skaro, time zone fifty-two seventy-one' the technop replied looking to her calm face.
'I see. Continue your work, I shall report to CIA' the woman replied and left his console.
As she was about to turn, she noticed a distinguished looking man entering the monitoring room.
'Sir, I am Monitoring Supervisor Lenks' she said and crossing towards him, she noted the darker robes of the CIA.
'You have detected a temporal breach in the vortex Monitoring Supervisor' he stated in an arrogant tone as he looked carefully about the room.
'Yes but how did you...?' Lenks was about to ask when the man shook his head and walked boldly into the centre of the room.
'It is our business to know of such things, location of the event?' he asked sounding slightly pleasant.
'In time zone fifty-two seventy-one, Skaro' Lenks replied and surprisingly the man smiled broadly.
'The Desolation of the Dalek race, chaos and anarchy running rampant, however if it was that simple CIA would not be here' he announced proudly.
'Ma'am?' the technop called and immediately Lenks hurried to the console.
'Yes, what else do you have to report?' she asked.
'I'm picking up an unknown artron energy signature at the centre of the incursion?' he replied calmly.
'A Time Lord at the centre of the eradication of order amongst the Dalek race, there is only one such being we know of' the man replied feeling uneasy.
Lenks nodded.
'The Doctor?' she asked.
'Yes, the Doctor. I want the vortex trawled for any sign of the current regenerative form, I want him brought here for interrogation- do you understand Lenks?' the man snapped and Lenks nodded.
'Well get on with it then!' he snapped and promptly left the room.
'Dust, dust and yet more dust! I really ought to clean these books a bit more thoroughly these days or years or even centuries?' the Doctor muttered as he ran a finger along the edge of the bookcases.
'All these great books and I'll never know if I read them or just collected them? The first collected works of Leonardo Da Vinci, The Beatles: Unseen Archives, Pride and Prejudice' the Doctor said as he looked the mix-match of assorted books that sat there.
'Now then, something to read? Gallifreyan laws of committing Atrocities? Hmm? I wonder how that got there?' he wondered.
Suddenly there came a low groan from the direction of the console and as the Doctor looked about him, he could seen a green control flashing.
'Hello? That looks like the warning system I installed should Time Lords want to pay a visit?' the Doctor murmured as he crossed over to the console.
'To be or not to be, that is the question, particularly why Time Lords are searching the void? Hello, what's this?' the Doctor said and pressed a control.
Immediately a large dark blue flickering holo-sphere appeared next to him, in its centre was a face of a Time Lord that he did not know?
'Time Lords, we of the Celestial Intervention Agency are tracking a dangerous criminal throughout the vortex. He is known by many names, if seen do not approach, visual data of past regeneration follows' the holo-sphere grated.
Immediately there appeared a life size figure of an old man with a cane, wise and knowing, a second man, shorter, a third being a gentleman, a toothy grin amidst a sea of waving curly hair and a long scarf, a cricketeer, that awful coat, the paranoid fellow and the last- dashing and young.
Immediately the holo-sphere vanished back into the vortex.
'Now there's a palaver, that was me! Dangerous criminal, now what have I done this time that's upset precious CIA?' the Doctor muttered and started to adjust the controls quickly.
'Thank goodness for my modifications or else they would have ensnared me? Now since they don't know who I like so there's the advantage!' he breathed and played about the controls.
Pulling down the scanner he glanced up to see a spiralling vortex but there something wrong with that image, he was sure of it?
'Hmm? That doesn't look good? I wonder where it all started?' the Doctor asked aloud as the TARDIS rattled along.
The working doors to Dalek Control slid open and admitted the Chief Scientist; this Red Dalek glided forward to face the Black Dalek.
'Report your findings' it instructed.
'We have found the weapon used to kill the Supreme Dalek. The weapon located inside the casing is subcultural- a knife used to inflict severe internal damage. This device was created by a race, whose knowledge in Time travel exceeds our own' the Red Dalek reported.
'Explain?' the Black Dalek asked sounding uncertain.
'The knife used to kill the Dalek creature was constructed from an alloy that exists one rel into the future, this allowed the assailant to inflict severe damage in such a short time' the Red Dalek grated.
The Black Dalek looked about it, at the anarchy. Without a supreme leader to guide them, the council has been torn apart. Supreme councillors were trying to re-establish control over all divisions.
'Have you located the origin of the weapon?' it asked and the Red Dalek also turned look at the devastation and chaos before them.
'Yes, it came from Gallifrey' the Red Dalek grated.
The Black Dalek swung about at the mention of this, its eye focussing on the red dome.
'You are certain of this? A Time Lord assassinated the Supreme Dalek?' it said finding it hard to believe but also that they had been successful.
'We believe that it to be the work of the Doctor, he is the only member of the Time Lords to hate our race, his disturbances have cost the Dalek race greatly' the Red Dalek grated.
The Black Dalek shook anxiously, its eye blazed with hatred.
'Yes, the Doctor would succeed knowing that he has crippled the Dalek race but we shall continue! His crimes will not go unpunished, he will be brought here and finally he will be exterminated!' the Black screeched.
'I will deploy all temporal scanners into the vortex, we shall locate him quickly' grated the Red Dalek.
'Excellent! The Doctor believes he has succeeded but we shall triumph, the Supreme Dalek has fallen but the Daleks will continue, we shall be Supreme!' the Black Dalek grated.
The Red Dalek looked about it once more before turning and gliding out of the Control Centre leaving the Black Dalek commander alone.
Revenge was a human term but Dalek held emotions too, arrogance and pride for their superiority but this Dalek felt a moment of weakness-sadness for the fall of its leader.
This cold feeling was suddenly replaced by burning hatred; it could see the Doctor suffering the full wrath of the Daleks!
'Hmm? There we go, I believe I have located the source of severance in the vortex. Shouldn't take to long to work out what's wrong, fix it and then pop back here to work out what book I should read?' the Doctor replied and as he looked up to the time rotor he watched as it slowly stopped moving.
'Hmm? And there we go, I shan't be a moment or three old girl?' the Doctor breathed and pressed the control on the TARDIS console and from the distance of the door there came a click as the lock came undone.
Striding along towards the doors he confidently pulled open the door and stepped out.
All around him it was dark and quiet, no he could hear a low echo of something?
Advancing slowly, his arms out before him.
'Hello? Is anyone there? I'd hate to know if I've arrived at closing time?' he called but nothing met his calls.
Suddenly he felt something, hard, so much that he banged his legs as he walked into it. It was a table but not square or did it possess legs, it was vast and round. Fairly large to even realise?
'Hello? Is anybody outside at all?' he said when his hand touched something wet and slimy.
'Ugh! I really hope this isn't a waste extractor of some kind, mouldy carrots, and lettuce’ the Doctor trailed off as he started to gag on a vicious smell that invaded his nostrils.
'What is that stench? Live... well I'd rather not say on payment of loosing my breakfast' the Doctor gasped.
As he staggered around the vast table he fell against the wall, hard. It too seemed to be pasted with the same gunk but beneath this was the cold touch of metal.
Then a horrible thought passed through his mind and raising his foot slowly, he brought it down hard to reveal the clank of metal.
Feeling his way around the wall he pressed what seemed to be a switch and immediately the lights around him flashed into existence.
Raising a hand to shield his eyes he looked around him at what devastation had occurred. The green slime that coated all confines of the room but the room itself was familiar. So very familiar to his own mind... if only he could remember?
'Everything is proceeding as you instructed Master' replied the tall, hooded figure towards the screen.
'Excellent, the Doctor is without question the correct candidate for this crime. His hatred of the Daleks will place him far at the top of all enquiries' croaked a distorted, once humanesque voice.
'But what of later, when they discover the truth?' the figure whispered towards the screen.
'Time Lords are foolish, insular creatures, always attempting to pin blame on someone and what better place now? The Doctor will die by either way Time Lords or Daleks and when they do discover the truth it will be too late!' the creature cackled and rasped collectively.
'I shall ensure that the Doctor comes to great harm Master, he will not conflict in our plans now' the figure replied.
'The Doctor is insignificant. The Daleks will perceive a link to the Time Lords, without the supreme Dalek to allow for safe council they will make mistakes and from there I shall strike!' the creature cackled.
The cowled figure glanced down to his wrist to see a light flickering across his communicator.
'I am called, we shall discuss this later' the figure replied and bowed to the horrific creation on the screen before turning away.
The creature in question turned away from the communications screen and smiled.
As a gleaming creature approached him, coloured white and gold, he waited patiently as it reported.
'Duplicate has been exterminated by rogue Dalek units, Emperor. They are diverting their temporal scanners to the Time Vortex' the Dalek replied.
'Excellent! They have swallowed the bait! Total anarchy throughout the renegades, the ones who turn away from me, their true light! I am their Master and they will perish for their crimes against me!' cackled the creature.
Dressed in a tight black tunic, the creature sat in a chair, he looked like it was a chair but its design denoted a Dalek casing but it was gold with white sensor globes. Its face was a horrific skull while ancient skin clung to the baldhead; an arrangement of circuitry and metallic bands circled the head, while a band of studs connected to the spine.
A single artificial eye sat in the centre of the forehead while the others were closed and dead.
'My victory will be Supreme! I am the Emperor, I am the Emperor!' roared Davros viciously.
'You have something to report?' the CIA man asked as he came storming into the monitoring room.
'We tracked the Vortex from every angle, we found nothing' Lenks replied.
The man seemed to be very anxious as he glanced around at all the monitors before him.
'Did you encounter many TARDISs throughout the vortex?' he asked and Lenks, walking to a monitor looked down it to see three registered models.
'Only three Sir, the vortex is out of bounds to most Time Lords' Lenks reminded him.
'Except renegades! The Doctor is a renegade; his TARDIS would have been recognised? He uses a type forty, did any of the probes make contact with a type forty travel capsule?' the man asked.
Lenks looked down at the monitor and then up at the grim looking man standing over her shoulder.
'Only one Sir, it was a registered model' Lenks replied but the man almost threw a fit of rage.
'Monitoring Supervisor, perhaps it hadn't escaped your notice that all Time Lords use Type eighty TARDISs? Type forty were all recalled bar his. Where did it go? Can you tell me the exact details?' the man demanded.
Lenks started to type feverishly away on the keypad before the correct information flashed up on the screen.
'Current location puts it as... Oh' she said and the man nodded.
'Skaro, returning to the scene of the crime, he'll get a horrible reception. Recall the TARDIS!' the man ordered.
'Sir?' Lenks asked sounding unsure but the man facing her, his arrogance was very traceable in his rat-like face.
'Recall his TARDIS, have it brought to the TARDIS cradles. I will dispatch the Chancellery Guard, remember that this man is hostile!' the man instructed.
Lenks, unable to argue with this man. His badge that he wore denoted Commander, the underleader of the Castellan.
She reluctantly typed in the correct code and pressed the initiation sequence into action.
The man behind here smiled as the screen came alive with transference details.
'Excellent! Monitoring Supervisor, continue your work I have to inform the Castellan of the situation' the Commander replied.
He stalked out of the room feeling quite proud of the situation and how it was developing.
The Doctor stared around him at the vast chamber once more; now that his eyes were becoming accustomed to the light he pulled his hand away and started to explore the room.
The vast circular table covered in the same gangrenous green slimy entrails stood in the centre while all around him was grey, devoid of colour, imagination of creativity.
The doors at the end stood closed, a flat plate of metal lay flat across the polished metal. The evident sign that the door had been replaced.
'Oh no' he said as he caught sight of a familiar looking console. The alien symbols on the control were very familiar and the round screen.
'Of course, this must have been some kind of important chamber? This map is of the galaxy, an invasion map and with the relevant details present I'm clearly not in Kansas' the Doctor breathed.
Suddenly there came a low groaning and moaning from the TARDIS and looking up the Doctor was startled to see the old girl start to fade.
'What? By Rassilon's beard! What are you doing old girl?' the Doctor cried as he hurried to her but she was gone. No longer inhabiting the same space.
It took the Doctor only a few minutes to determine who could be responsible.
'Transducted my TARDIS back... home! Oh those fools, to leave me here! They must really be worried that I've done something wrong? Typical CIA!' the Doctor muttered and kicked at the wall hard.
'Now what am I going to do? Stuck here of all places! Which begs the question, what has happened? The TARDIS detected no anomalous readings, therefore no time travel signatures detected? I do not like it?' the Doctor muttered as he approached the table.
Resting across the table, he winced as he lifted his left hand from a sticky green mess.
'What is this stuff?' he wondered and lifted it to his eyes and nose and inhaled, the stench was almost overpowering.
'Well it's organic... flesh. Mutant flesh from within a casing. But looking at this place the creature would have to have been ripped apart?' he breathed as he looked around the room.
'An important room or I'm guessing it must be. This is an invasion chamber, and this map of the galaxy denotes that they were planning an invasion' the Doctor said as he glanced at every symbol on the map before him.
'But that's not possible? Any Dalek is extremely dangerous but to have hacked it apart like this, would require speed, determination, no fear and above all else a motive!' the Doctor explained aloud to audience of nothingness.
Something caught at his eye, resting not far away; it was the remains of a Dalek gunstick but as the Doctor bent to pick it up he could see the clean, straight diagonal cut across the barrel.
Nothing remotely organic could cut with so much precision. Therefore the Dalek in this chamber had been attacked in the dark by an enemy without fear of death!
It also begged the question of how could a killing machine as this arrive on Skaro without notice?
Then he noticed something lying in the wall buried up the hilt so that less than an inch penetrated from the wall.
Running a finger along its smooth surface, he now knew.
'Commander I would prefer a little notice before you take it upon yourself to apprehend a Time Lord fugitive?' Castellan Canel replied in his busy little tone.
'With the greatest respect Castellan, this is the business of the Celestial Intervention Agency. You presence is only required to ensure the acts of the High Council are pleased. The general public do not need to know what the state of affairs currently is' the Commander retorted.
'I'm sure you believe what you know to be truthful but to recall a TARDIS without permission from the High Council is still an offence' Canel countered.
'Indeed but not as great as interference!' the Commander replied as they walked down the long, winding corridor before arriving in the vast TARDIS cradles.
An immense room extending as far as the eye could see while elegant white pillars supported the roof.
It held a look of a temple, while great flags of the Panoptican fluttered in the breeze.
Beneath them, many red and cream clad guards had assembled around the Blue Box.
'I still do not see the relevance in bringing him here? We infringe on his freedom that we have promised him' Canel muttered.
'Infringe? He is a Time Lord, a renegade at that and in bringing him here we will discover the truth from his lips!' the Commander retorted as they descended the last of the steps and crossed to the blue box.
As Canel drew level, the Chancellery guard saluted and he simply bowed back.
'Well Commander...? You best get on with this?' Canel said.
The Commander motioned to a guard to come forward with the universal key and humbly twisted it into the slit and turned.
The door swung open and the Commander motioned the guards in.
'First battalion enter and secure the console room! Second battalion will search this TARDIS from top to bottom. Apprehend the fugitive, disable if he attempts to escape!' the Commander ordered.
'Police Box? I wonder why he chose such a shape as this to disguise his place?' Canel muttered.
'It is a twentieth century Earth relic, the sign of law enforcement, you can see the irony can you not?' the Commander replied but Canel merely eyed the Commander with suspicion.
'No, no I do not? Perhaps you could explain it?' he asked and the Commander merely rolled his eyes.
The Doctor sighed as he glanced over the map before him just as the door opened and in glided a Red Dalek, on spying him; he made no attempt to move.
'Stay where you are! Do not move!' the creature grated and the Doctor shivered as the voice cut through him.
'Of course I won't? I imagine you want an explanation for why I am here?' he said the creature was eyeing him carefully.
'You are the... Doctor?' it said sounding uneasy.
'Yes. I am you enemy and I am unarmed as usual and at your mercy' the Doctor replied in a weary voice.
Slowly he raised his hands, unaware that he was still holding the remains of the Dalek gun in one hand.
'You will come with me to control, you will obey!' it grated and the Doctor nodded and was about to put down the gunstick when the Dalek glided forward.
'Immediately Doctor!' the Red Dalek ordered.
'Very well, although I'll have you know I have a very good reason to be here!' the Doctor replied quickly as he walked past the Dalek and out towards the doors.
They parted and he once more saw the soulless metallic passages where one or two silver Daleks glided along slowly.
As they walked along the vast corridor, they crossed out into the atmosphere onto a conveyor belt that carried them over a vast crater and into another dome. The conveyor was a refreshing thing for his tired legs but his escort like all of them did not seem to notice.
As the conveyor ended the Doctor continued.
'Stop! Turn left!' snapped the Red Dalek and reluctantly the Doctor turned on his heel and into a vast room.
It was filled with consoles operated by many technicians, huge screens surveyed the wall space but as the Doctor halted he could see a noticeable space.
'Who is this?' demanded the Black Dalek Commander.
'This being acknowledges that he is the Doctor, he was located within the Invasion Chamber' reported the Red Dalek.
'Is this true? You are the Doctor?' the Black Dalek asked sounding uneasy.
'I am. I am the greatest menace to the Daleks or something like that? Why, aren't you sure anymore? And where's the Supreme Dalek? Is he on holiday or something?' the Doctor asked but the Black Dalek's eye blazed hatred.
'You are the Doctor, criminal against the Dalek Race, your crime will not go unpunished!' the Black Dalek grated fiercely.
'Crime? What are you blathering on about?' the Doctor asked but the creature continued in its speech.
'You are the enemy of the Daleks! You caused great havoc by committing the killing of the Supreme Dalek, you will be exterminated! Exterminate! Exterminate!' the creature shrieked.
Around him the others were taking up the chant.
'Exterminate! Exterminate! Exterminate!'
The Doctor could only stare in horror as each Dalek raised their guns directly at him!
'Wait! Please wait?' he called but he was being drowned out.
'Exterminate!' grated the Black Dalek and it fired!
The Enemy of the Daleks

EPISODE TWO:
The Doctor scream carried far into every corner of the room as he fell to the ground clutching at his legs.
'I... I'm alive. But you just sentenced me to death?' he said looking up at the Black Dalek before him.
'Correct. You are alive for the moment but you will answer our questions!' ordered the Black Dalek.
'Always the way. Scared aren't you? Scared that you can't kill me properly' the Doctor muttered.
'You will suffer for your crime! Stand!' grated the Red Dalek from behind him.
The Doctor barely managed to wiggle a toe, let alone stand properly.
'Stand!' the Black Dalek snapped but the Doctor shook his head.
'Why did you paralyse my legs in the first place? What crime have I committed against you?' he moaned as he tried to stand.
'Lies will not spare your life. You are aware of what has occurred, you will tell us why you committed it!' the Red Dalek grated.
As the Doctor climbed to his weary feet, biting his lip as he went, the pain present in his legs was almost unbearable.
The Black Dalek gestured to a human-shaped frame and the Doctor recognised its design immediately.
'A torture device, I had thought that you Daleks were a bit more sophisticated than this? Which means you would exercise some intelligence?' the Doctor cried weakly.
'Climb into the frame! Climb!' the Red Dalek ordered shoving the Doctor forward and slowly the Doctor stumbled had he not caught the edge of the Black Dalek's casing and pushed himself into it.
Immediately the bands snapped over his limbs and trunk, then suddenly he felt metallic spikes, sharp sticking into his skin.
'Now what?' he sighed looking to the two Daleks before him.
'You will tell us everything Doctor, you will explain why you committed the crime. You will tell us everything or you will experience severe pain!' grated the Black Dalek.
'Crime? You said something about your Supreme leader? I don't know what you're on about but I'm...' the Doctor was saying as pain, jagged cut into him.
'You will tell us! You will tell us everything!' the Black Dalek grated.
Castellan Canel stood waiting patiently but the CIA Commander was expressing his frustration by crossing his harm and looking anxious. It had been three hours since he had dispatched the battalion.
TARDISes were bigger but not as big as this? He was breathing heavily.
'Something wrong Commander?' Canel asked and the Commander simply did his best to ignore the tone that his superior was giving.
'There must be a chase underway in there?' he said quickly but Canel shook his head slightly.
'Then why do we not hear Stasers being fired? This action I believe has gone on for far too long. Excuse me?' he said and started to leave.
'Castellan, you have to stay?' the Commander replied quickly.
'No Commander I do not, I am busy with other things, this criminal fails to appear. What you have here is an empty shell' Canel retorted and walked away from the cradles.
Just then a Chancellery Captain appeared at the doorway and saluted the Commander.
'Ah at last, bring him out Captain' ordered the Commander but the Captain shook his head.
'The travel capsule is empty Sir, there is no sign of the Time Lord occupant?' the Captain reported.
'What? Are you sure?' snapped the Commander.
'We've made a thorough check Sir, there is no one aboard' the Captain retorted.
'Very well, dismount the TARDIS and have it contained in the cradles under maximum security!' the Commander ordered.
He hurried after the Castellan, who was ascending the second flight of stairs.
'How did you know that the Doctor was not on board?' the Commander demanded.
Canel simply smiled and carried on.
'You are impetuous Commander and quick to judge, when you informed me during the Council in session of what you were doing, I asked monitoring who you were bringing here. They informed myself that it was empty, you merely take things at face value. Not a very good leader are you in the CIA?' Canel retorted.
'So he has escaped? It proves that he is a criminal!' snapped the Commander.
'No, it merely proves that you transducted the TARDIS without him being aboard. How foolish is that?' Canel replied leaving the Commander fuming angrily.
How can the Doctor be so slippery?
'Answer the questions!' snapped the Red Dalek.
'For the last time I am telling you that I have committed no crime against the Daleks, other than defend the weak! No I will not submit to more pain!' the Doctor retorted.
'You were found inside the Invasion chamber' grated the Black Dalek.
'Yes, after this supposed crime took place. Now why don't we all start to discuss this reasonably?' the Doctor asked.
'Deactivate the pain transponders!' ordered the Black Dalek.
'At last now perhaps one of you could tell me what you are accusing me of?' the Doctor asked.
'You are the culprit for the extermination of Supreme Dalek' grated the Red Dalek.
'You what?' the Doctor replied, astounded by what the red clad creature had said.
'You are the enemy of the Daleks. You killed the Supreme Dalek!' added the Red Dalek.
'I beg to differ, on grounds of what evidence do you have and it's sheer lunacy to implicate me!' the Doctor retorted loudly.
'You are the enemy of the Daleks, you possess the motivation to commit the crime!' grated the Black Dalek.
'That's hardly a reason. I imagine you have many enemies, anyone who is not remotely Dalek related could also be the culprit! You know me as much as I know you, now answer me this- Have I ever started something against you-ever?' the Doctor asked looking to each of the creatures in turn.
'Come on? You two can think, you're not like the others?' the Doctor snapped.
'You conflict with Dalek race, you thwart our plans. You are instigator!' grated the Black Dalek but the Doctor simply stared at them both.
'No I am not! You invade and threaten the innocent and I stop your plight but I would never ever drop to below that level!' the Doctor snapped.
'If you would release me then I, the Doctor will tell you what happened to your Supreme Dalek? But I did not kill him' the Doctor replied.
'You are lying, we located a weapon used on the Supreme. Its origin is Gallifreyan!' grated the Red Dalek.
The Doctor sighed as much as the bands constricting his body allowed.
'Look, I am unarmed. I cannot possibly inflict any sort of damage to either of you, so please release me and we can discuss this reasonably?' the Doctor pleaded looking to them.
'Release him!' ordered the Black Dalek and the Red Scientist pressed the pad at the side of the frame.
'Thank you, thank you very much' the Doctor sighed as the bands parted from his body.
The cowled figure sealed the door to the chamber once more and stopped before the screen.
'This is agent to Master, I have a report to be made' he hissed.
A vast screen above his head blipped into existence and there facing his was a creature. The white dome staring down at him.
'The Emperor is in conference' it grated but the figure would not take this lightly! Tell him that I need to speak to him, it is of a matter most urgency!' the figure hissed.
As the screen went to blank, the figure hissed impatient breaths, clenching his gloved fists as the screen finally came alive.
'I am the Emperor, you slave report!' the creature grated.
'The Doctor has not arrived on Gallifrey, his TARDIS was transducted but he remains on Skaro' the figure hissed.
'You cretin! You assured me that you had the power to ensure that the Doctor would be taken care of, you have wasted every opportunity! Who knows that the Doctor is not here?' Davros hissed harshly.
'The Castellan, the Chancellery guard, the monitors, possible even the High Council?' the figure hissed.
'Too many creatures know. You have failed me but you can still succeed' Davros rasped.
'How do I do that Master? Without the Doctor here there will be no outbreak of war between the races?' the figure hissed.
'Use your initiative, the Doctor is not a fool, he will show creatures who is in charge, namely you against them. Implicate the High Council, supplant information. They are arrogant creatures who despise Daleks, the Doctor will be their servant- a free pardon to act on this instruction! The resulting will grant me supreme power!' Davros cackled.
'I shall do what is necessary Master, to bring the Daleks here and then you will have a chance!' the figure said smiling to the screen.
'Yes, that will benefit us both! Continue Commander, ensure that Time Lords fall!' Davros ordered.
'I Obey Master' the figure hissed and the screen went blank.
The doors to the Invasion chamber slid apart and in glided the Black Dalek, the Red Dalek Scientist and the Doctor.
'The scene of the crime' the Doctor breathed and started to walk about the room.
'You found the Supreme Dalek here by this table?' the Doctor said and the Black Dalek glided closer.
'The exact location is one metre to your left' the creature grated.
The Doctor side-stepped to that spot and stood there.
'Now since you explained that the doors were sealed off, the Supreme's casing was pretty much shredded and what remains of the being is pretty much everything. Where did the intruder go?' the Doctor stated.
'You would have returned to your TARDIS' grated the Red Dalek.
'But I am here now. Look at the mess that has been wrought, do you honestly believe that would have caused this? Look at it!' the Doctor snapped pointing every conceivable direction.
The Red Dalek looked about at the damage. Dalek flesh was splattered about the room and the Doctor was still here, barely coated in the stuff.
'Yet you remain here. What then do you believe killed the Supreme Dalek?' the Black Dalek grated.
'A Raston robot, assassin class. You want to know why? The last time I saw your Supreme, he was pretty tall, larger than most conventional Daleks and you think that I could inflict this much damage? I hope you've examined the wounds in the casing, because I would say that they are too precise' the Doctor explained.
There appeared to be a certain amount of logic in what he had said but there was no evidence present?
'Where is your evidence?' the Red Dalek demanded.
'Ah, elementary Chief Scientist yonder wall has what seems to be metallic implement within it. Caused by a spear travelling at a high velocity' the Doctor said pointing to the wall in question.
As the Red Dalek glided closer, it extended its manipulator towards the strange object, as it activated its scanner, it looked at the readings.
The Doctor stood proud and produced the edge of the gunstick, showing it to the Black Dalek, he ran his finger along the diagonal edge.
'Do you see, too precise a cut. Now the Time Lords removed my TARDIS without me, almost trying to implicate me? No organic as well you know cannot get close to you and inflict so much damage without suffering considerably' the Doctor explained.
The Red Dalek finished its examination and turned to face the Black Dalek.
'Examination complete. The Doctor is correct in his assumptions' it grated.
'More to the point, how did it get in here or on this planet?' the Doctor asked but they remained silent. Watching him carefully.
'Raston class are very swift machines, why did you decide to implicate me as the prime suspect?' Doctor asked.
'We located a weapon within the casing. It originated from Gallifrey. You, being the only Gallifreyan to interfere in Dalek operations was the only possibility' grated the Black Dalek.
'Look at this place, do honestly think that I have superhuman strength and speed, to tear a casing to pieces and shred a Dalek creature alive?' the Doctor snapped but then he sighed and ran a hand through his hair.
'I would very much like to see this knife, if that's all right with you?' the Doctor asked.
'It will be brought here' grated the Red Dalek, which spun about towards the door.
The Doctor now free to move about walked around the table, looking up at the Black Dalek watching him.
'This Invasion of yours, I dare say it will continue?' he asked but the creature remained silent.
'If you're still worried that I am the culprit, you could kill me, shoot me dead right now but it won't accomplish anything' the Doctor replied.
'The Invasion was secure a segment of the Bumeaka system. There were to be no obstacles in our plans except for...' the Dalek trailed off.
'Yes, who were these or am I guessing that I am one of them?' the Doctor asked.
'Correct. You and Davros were the only obstacles, now that Davros is dead we shall continue1' the Black Dalek replied.
'Davros!' the Doctor hissed. 'Yes that would be it! You killed him then?' the Doctor added.
'Davros has been exterminated but so has the Supreme Dalek' the Black Dalek replied.
Of course. This was before the Omega gambit, Davros, still alive, taken away but dead? Unlikely.
'On the contrary, we've found our culprit- Davros!' the Doctor announced coldly.
'Chancellor and Lord President, I feel better that you have finally joined me. I know that only a meeting should be called in extreme peril but I believe that this is such a time?' Castellan Canel replied.
He stood at a vast baronial style table while next to him sat the Chancellor, a young woman within her second regeneration with long golden locks and a face of purest beauty.
Her name was Taarallodorena or Taara for short.
The ancient academic President Juvil sat there in his grand chair; eyeglasses sat on his thin nose as he looked up at Canel.
'Why have you brought us here Castellan?' Juvil asked.
'Lord President, Commander Omlyr of the CIA has brought forth a TARDIS to the capital' Canel explained but Juvil's expression was one of confusion.
'What is so odd about that Castellan?' Taara asked.
'He seems to believe that the renegade known as the Doctor might be involved in a slight temporal severance' Canel replied.
'I heard that it was quite severe Castellan?' Taara remarked but Canel shook his head.
'You know what CIA are like, they blow everything out of proportion, however incumbent fool transducted only the capsule and left the Doctor behind' Canel explained.
'Where is the Doctor presently?' Juvil asked and Canel looked uneasy before answering.
'He is trapped on Skaro, at the Daleks' mercy and we all know what they are like' Canel replied.
Juvil sat up at the mention of Daleks, his old mind was a blur to Skaro but Daleks, he held no problems there.
'You want to mount a rescue mission?' Taara asked and Canel shook his head quickly.
'Nothing of the kind but instead we should contact the Daleks and explain why their greatest enemy is sitting on the doorstep twiddling his thumbs' Canel explained.
'Very well, I agree to your suggestion so I leave you, Castellan in charge of that option' Juvil replied.
'As do I. The Doctor has done many things for us and it's about time we return the offer' Taara added.
Canel nodded and bowed respectfully.
'Thank you Lord President, Chancellor, what action should be taken on Omlyr?' he asked.
'Have him disciplined, demote him a notch, that will teach him' chucked Juvil.
'Yes Lord President' Canel replied and bowed before leaving the room.
'That is impossible! I supervised the extermination of Davros' grated the Black Dalek.
'You blasted him at point blank range? No good. You've done that before and he survived. No Davros is still alive!' the Doctor retorted.
The Black Dalek's eye glanced around the room before focussing on the Doctor.
'Davros was exterminated, he is no longer a threat to Dalek security!' the Dalek grated.
'Security? Your leader is dead! Davros was brought from Nekros wasn't he?' the Doctor asked suddenly.
His find focussing on other avenues, back through his time streams to that point. That event.
'Correct. He was brought to the ship and remained in cryostorage for the journey' the Black Dalek replied.
'And you heard no trouble? No rants or raves about his superiority? Not like him at all? Exactly! Davros is insane but he's not a fool!' the Doctor replied.
As he walked to the map he looked the Black Dalek.
'Davros is a genetic engineer, despite all his failings he would not allow himself to get caught so easily? A duplicate! That's what you brought back here' the Doctor explained.
Just as the Black Dalek was about to answer him the doors parted open and in glided the Red Dalek carrying a tray.
'What do we have here?' the Doctor asked as he walked towards the creature.
'This is the weapon used against the Supreme Dalek' grated the Red Dalek. The Doctor took the knife from the tray, examining it fully.
'An honorary symbol of two hundred years of loyal service. This is from Gallifrey but it is not something that I would have about me? More than likely you'll find on the High Council?' the Doctor replied.
'Something is rotten in the state of Gallifrey! So Davros has a traitor at the highest place...' the Doctor stopped.
'When you captured Davros, he possessed an army of new Daleks with him, ones that would Obey him, what was he going to do with them?' the Doctor suddenly asked.
'His army of Daleks was destroyed completely. He was taken away' replied the Red Dalek.
'You think those were the only Daleks he had? Davros had been on Nekros for sometime, supposing his plans weren't yet over? He dispatched an assassin with a duplicate of himself to kill the Supreme Dalek, cause chaos, eradicate any point of discovery and ensnare me in the process!' the Doctor said.
'Then Davros is alive?' asked the Red Dalek and the Doctor nodded slowly.
Omlyr waited patiently by the bridge above the gallery as he saw Canel leave the High Council chamber. He felt desperate and wanted to do nothing other than crawl into a hole and sulk.
'Ah, there you are Commander?' Canel said as he spied Omlyr's lurking form.
'Castellan, I feel that I must apologise for my behaviour?' Omlyr said slowly but Canel waved his apology aside.
'Commander Omlyr, I have simply talked with the High Council not five minutes ago. They decree that I should contact the Dalek home world Skaro. As for yourself, President Juvil orders that your position be lieutenant from now on' Canel replied pleasantly.
Omlyr swallowed down rage and anger building in his form.
'Perhaps you would learn in future not to judge everyone too quickly' Canel said and walked off the balcony towards communications.
'No!' he muttered staring into the fleeting robed figure.
However, if he were to intercept the Castellan and substitute his own message? Than yes things would improve but how to do it?
So very few things could kill a Time Lord outright?
He advanced after the Castellan, his mind considering the next action to be used.
Crossing past the gleaming walls, Omlyr hurried over the grassy bank and past the bridge of the lower gallery.
As he drew level with the communications room Canel appeared.
'How did you come to be here Omlyr?' Canel asked but Omlyr simply smiled.
'Perhaps you would prefer me to make this message? I failed last time, could I please make this up?' he begged but Canel shook his head.
'No Omlyr, you are CIA, I am Castellan and have been appointed as such to make sure that the point is not lost. Farewell Lieutenant' Canel replied and Omlyr smiled.
With one swift move he pulled the knife from his belt and pulled it across Canel throat.
Canel, unaware until he felt warm liquid fall from his throat and onto his robes turned to see Omlyr, knife raised then suddenly he plunged the knife firmly into Canel's right heart.
'Oml...' Canel croaked before he fell to the ground. Omlyr pulled Canel's body into an alcove and continued on towards the room.
'No, farewell Castellan!' he replied and smiled viciously.
The Doctor stood in Central Control standing beside the Black Dalek. He did feel a touch uneasy to be standing in their presence.
'Continue scan of the vortex!' ordered the Black Dalek.
'I'd say your breath, Davros won't be hiding in the vortex. Somewhere else more akin to Skaro, that's what he wants!' the Doctor replied and the Dalek looked to him.
'Isn't it obvious? He wanted this to take place while he was on Nekros, to take complete control of your Empire!' the Doctor retorted.
'Black Dalek?' inquired a technician.
'Speak?' came the reply.
'We are receiving a communication from Gallifrey, unknown location?' reported the silver technician.
'Activate hyperlink' ordered the Black Dalek and the Doctor crossed his arms. Had he said too much, no! He was responsible for what was happening, not his past.
The screen fizzled into action, a strange cowled figure, who features blurred stood there.
'Attention Daleks, I bring a warning to you all!' whispered the figure.
'Identify yourself?' grated the Black Dalek.
'The High Council have declared that you all are unwanted to their success, to their continuity' the figure whispered.
'Where did you get this information from? Is this yours?' the Doctor said holding the knife aloft.
'Doctor! You have betrayed the Time Lords to the Dalek race!' hissed the figure but the Doctor simply smirked.
'Really? Me, their supreme enemy and all, does show how easy the Daleks let people off. Now how about you remove that cowl and talk to us all properly?' the Doctor asked.
'What game do you play Doctor?' the figure hissed.
'Snap mostly, the same sound that occurs when a trap catches something, alas this is not the case? Try harder next time!' the Doctor retorted.
The cowled figure simply hissed viciously and the screen faded away.
'They are getting anxious aren't they?' he said looking to the Black Dalek.
'Explain yourself?' it grated.
'That being was obviously trying something, which proves my point. Davros has allies on Gallifrey, to try and secure the blame on them' the Doctor replied.
'Why?' the Black Dalek asked and the Doctor sighed.
'To keep our races busy so that Davros can launch his attack on everything! He's hoping to deal with all his problems at once!' the Doctor sighed.
Omlyr closed the door to his chambers silently. He breathed a sigh of relief as he relaxed calmly.
For a Lieutenant... Commander in the CIA he had many garish and expensive services within his private apartments. He crossed his study, the high bookcases of stuffy old books, the canewood desk covered in papers, various pictures and portraits on the wooden panelled walls.
Crossing the lounge of comfortable looking settees and chairs, an expensive rug covered the floor while a vast fireplace stood in its centre.
Pushing open a smaller door at the back of the fireplace, a darkened room was revealed.
Pulling a strange, blank mask from his robes, he placed it on and pulled forth the hood.
'This is agent to Master, I have success to report' he said from behind the muffled mask.
The vast screen came alive displaying Davros. He appeared to be having some kind of surgery made to his hand?
'What do you report?' Davros snapped.
'I have killed the Castellan and I believe may have attracted the Doctor's attention?' Omlyr hissed.
Davros seemed to purr as his artificial eye blinked with light.
'Excellent but won't you explain yourself further?' Davros said as the Engineer Dalek completed its task.
'I intercepted the Castellan's response, the Doctor saw me but is convinced of trouble occurring here on Gallifrey, I believe that he will find a way to come here' Omlyr replied.
'Yes, he would do this and there you will trap him! An attack on the Daleks by a Time Lord weapon would only aggravate things further and when the time is right, we shall strike!' Davros hissed as he flexed the new metal pincer.
'What weapon shall I use?' Omlyr asked.
'The greatest weapon that the Time Lords possess, their minds! You will know what to do, report back when the Doctor is in your hands!' Davros hissed.
'I Obey Master' Omlyr replied and bowed his head slowly.
He was grinning beneath the mask as the image faded, he would finally gain the power and then it hit him, he knew exactly what to do!
They now stood in the vast gallery that was the shuttle bay. The Doctor stood there alone as he watched many Daleks working around him, he felt that he was being watched and he was right. Nearly all Daleks at sometime looked at him.
If he were telepathic, he could sense a great deal of resentment from them.
'The Time Ship is ready to board' grated the Red Dalek and the Doctor looking about him once more turned to follow the creature into the vast rounded smooth sphere.
As he walked up the ramp, the Black Dalek glided after him.
'All units prepare yourselves. We are de-materialising within seven rels' grated the Black Dalek.
'I hope you've prepared the other Daleks for a possible assault?' the Doctor asked above the countdown.
'Yes Doctor, everything has prepared for an invasion' the Black Dalek grated.
'We are leaving Skaro time zone' reported the pilot Dalek.
The Doctor gripped the safety rail surrounding the vast time rotor that stood central to the circular room.
'How long will it take to penetrate Gallifreyan shields?' asked the Black Dalek.
'I estimate a few minutes, particularly if you take it back to before the transduction barriers were established and then bring us back to the present, that if you do not want to wait around?' the Doctor replied.
'Very well, prepare the time co-ordinates we will materialise soon!' grated the Black Dalek.
'Yes and I wonder what will await us? A traitor in Gallifrey and an invasion on Skaro's doorstep?' the Doctor muttered but his response went quite unnoticed beneath the racket of the Daleks' engines.
Outside on Gallifrey's charming green hills, the round sphere of the time ship appeared.
'We have materialised, now push forward the temporal barriers. We will arrive within seven rels' the Red Dalek reported.
'What? Such a shame too. I was hoping to pop out and wish Rassilon good luck? Oh well, best speed on!' the Doctor muttered.
The staring Daleks continued look from their work stations towards the Doctor, he in turn gripped the safety bar tighter.
The Sphere seemed to blur, as the outside seemed to warp and shift as history claimed it, the ground flattened out and stone covered it, then washed away.
Finally the vast Panoptican remained.
'Yes, I think this will do?' the Doctor said looking at the scanner.
The door to time ship opened slowly and the ramp slid down. A thin trail of Silver Daleks glided down to secure the perimeter.
As the Doctor appeared in the opening, he breathed high the pure, almost sterilised air before descending but no sooner had he reached the bottom then he saw a body.
'Oh no! What has happened here?' the Doctor cried as he hurried to the body. It was soaked in blood and the man, although unrecognised, wore the robes of Castellan.
'The Time Lord is dead' grated the Red Dalek over his shoulder.
'Yes, which adds the question are we too late? Or are we expected?' the Doctor breathed.
'Begin a scan for humanoid counter' ordered the Black Dalek.
'I Obey' replied the Red Dalek and it started to raise its manipulator.
High above them, in the galleries staring through the foliage were many Chancellery guards, staser rifles pointing down.
'Sir, we have multiple enemy targets in visual' the Captain reported as Omlyr broke cover and hurried towards them.
'The Doctor, accompanied by Daleks! It's an invasion force!' Omlyr cried in fake terror.
'Sensors indicate massive presence of Gallifreyan personnel within vicinity' reported the Red Dalek as it completed its scan.
'All Daleks, prime weapons!' grated the Black Dalek.
'No! This is not the way forward, let me speak to them?' the Doctor cried pushing the Daleks back.
Suddenly a staser bolt hit at the Doctor's form, narrowly missing his foot.
'Careful!' the Doctor warned but the firing continued, one hit the Red Dalek, glancing off its side.
'All Daleks spread out, Exterminate intruders!' ordered the Black Dalek.
'No! They're confused, cancel firing, no one dies!' the Doctor yelled to the creature.
'Do you see? He's been working for them, the Doctor has betrayed the Time Lords!' Omlyr cried from his place.
'Kill him!' Omlyr prompted the guards, aiming up their sights on the Doctor.
'Kill the traitor!' Omlyr hissed, his eyes burning like red-hot coals.

ENEMY OF THE DALEKS
EPISODE THREE:
'Exterminate! Exterminate!' screeched the Daleks as they fanned out into the courtyard.
The Doctor, abandoning all attempts to halt the frenzied attacks was now going to try and stop these trigger-happy guards.
As he crossed away from the group, a Dalek exploded under constant barrage of staser fire.
As the Doctor climbed a staircase, he received a rifle in the face. Looking up, he saw a tall, rat-faced man in dark robes covering him with a staser rifle.
'Don't move, murderer!' Omlyr hissed and the Doctor reluctantly raised his hands.
'Murderer?' the Doctor said and side-stepped to the balcony and glanced over, below the battle was continuing, yet again another Dalek exploded but of the Castellan's body there was no sign.
'How did you know there had been a murder? We can't see a body from here?' the Doctor replied but Omlyr held his gun tightly.
'Caught red handed, Doctor!' Omlyr grinned but the Doctor tutted loudly.
'There's another mistakes you've made, how do you know that I'm the Doctor or I'm the murderer? My hands are coated in dried blood, the Castellan has been dead for some time, he's drained of blood, a knife would puncturing his right heart would inhibit regeneration. Since there's no blood there, he did somewhere else and since you know about the body and everything else I would deduce that you are the culprit!' the Doctor explained and saw that Omlyr's face twitched angrily.
'Well done Doctor but I'm afraid no one will believe you where you're going!' Omlyr hissed but the Doctor looked crestfallen.
'You're going to shoot him, how novel? Your robes, ah yes CIA always on the look out for more promising power for Gallifrey. How much is Davros paying you?' the Doctor asked but Omlyr raised his gun.
'A lot Doctor, the mearest shame that you will be unable to witness my glory!' Omlyr hissed and the Doctor sighed looking about him.
'Another megalomaniac creeps out of the woodwork! I would have thought you would have been a duplicate of some sort?' the Doctor sighed.
Two Chancellory guardsmen appeared down the corridor.
'Commander Omlyr, we have successfully repelled the enemy' one of them said.
'Good, I have captured the traitor as he tried to escape' Omlyr replied indicating to the Doctor.
'Where would I escape to? No TARDIS?' the Doctor retorted but with a nod the guards took hold of him roughly.
'Take him to the cells, I must report to the High Council' Omlyr hissed as he watched the guards dragging him away.
Omlyr had bypassed his announced meeting and gone straight to the secret communications centre, he stood there, cowled and masked as the screen came to life.
'Well, what does my servant have to report now?' Davros rasped.
'The Doctor has been taken care of, all ready suspicion is growing as to why he would join the Daleks against the Time Lords' Omlyr hissed.
Davros managed a hideous grin and for a moment Omlyr averted his eyes from the spectacle.
'Excellent Commander, you have done brilliantly well. Now that Dalek and Time Lord fight I will launch the final phase of my plan! Nothing and no one will stop me! You will ensure that the conflict escalates completely!' Davros grated.
Turning to his side towards a Dalek, he spat an order.
'Deploy scout craft immediately! Draw the enemy Daleks fire away while we move main fleet to take control! Special Weapons Dalek units to be deployed via transmat!' Davros snarled.
'I Obey' grated the white Dalek.
'Master, what of my power? When the Time Lords find out...?' Omlyr began but Davros interrupted him, drowning out his words.
'The Time Lords will not find out when destroy and kill the High Council. You, as leader of the CIA will assume full control of Gallifrey, you will then have unlimited power! The Daleks will be destroyed and I will rule the Supreme Emperor of the Dalek Race!' Davros shouted.
Omlyr bowed respectfully towards the screen.
'Yes Master and what of the Doctor, he knows all ready of my involvement in this' Omlyr hissed.
'The Doctor is a fool, a loose link in the chain of events. His position is weak, have him implicated in the destruction of the high council, you still possess the device. The Doctor will be my instrument in attaining full control!' Davros rasped.
'I Obey, Master!' Omlyr hissed and the moment the screen faded, he pulled free the mask and cowl and dropped them to the floor.
Crossing to a silver box marked with the seal of Rassilon he pulled it open to reveal a disk-shaped object.
The perfect weapon!
The Doctor tapped a bar hard with frustration. Another prison cell yet again, he thought.
'I really should have brought a book with me if I knew I was going to be locked up again?' the Doctor muttered as he looked around the dark room.
'Typical CIA holding cell, restricted space must be used to intimidate prisoners into confessing?' the Doctor wondered.
Just then the door at the far end opened and in walked Omlyr.
'Come to gloat have you?' the Doctor asked but Omlyr was not grinning.
'Far from it Doctor, I have come for your confession' Omlyr replied but the Doctor could not believe it, he smirked loudly.
'Confession? Have you suffered amnesia or something because I thought that you were the culprit? A member of the CIA too! What is the universe coming to?' the Doctor sighed.
'The Castellan was an interfering influence, he was a danger that had to be stopped' Omlyr replied.
'So you killed him with a knife that I do not possess, as you know the guards took an inventory of my possessions. No knife or weapon unless you're suggesting I brutally stabbed the poor man to death with my yo yo?' the Doctor smiled and then looked grim.
'Don't you worry about that Doctor, the knife will appear as will your confession, immediate termination by vaporisation!' Omlyr said slowly.
'You don't want me to talk, to tell them all how you betrayed the Time Lords to Davros, you do know that he's a self-centred, ego-megalomaniac that cares for no one except himself?' the Doctor asked.
'I spoken to him many times Doctor, I do notice things like that' Omlyr retorted.
'Really? Well I've had more than a chat to realise that he and his ideas contrast strongly with any allies he's made before his plan is revealed! He'll discard you, like he's discarding me!' the Doctor retorted and for a moment Omlyr smiled.
'Is that your confession Doctor?' Omlyr asked but the Doctor merely crossed over to the bunk and sat down.
'You will answer me!' Omlyr demanded but the Doctor yawned.
'Or what? You'll shoot me and claim that I tried to escape through these bars?' the Doctor sighed wearily.
'You will answer me Doctor! Answer me!' Omlyr yelled drawing his staser from his robes and aiming it at him.
The gallery stood empty, burning Dalek casings littered the courtyard as Chancellory guards secured the area.
'Sir, we have captured a prisoner' reported a guard and the Captain looked down at the weak looking man.
'I am aware of that private, he has been taken to CIA cells awaiting execution' the Captain sighed but the Private shook his head.
'No Sir, not the traitor but we have captured another' the man said and as the Captain looked down her nose at the snotty little man, that would mean a Dalek.
'Sir, it... it surrendered to us. It demands to speak to the President' the soldier replied.
'Bring this prisoner to me' the Captain ordered and as she looked down from her imposing height she could hear it long before she could see it.
It still held its gun but it was raised up and to the side as the Dalek halted before her.
'I am the Black Dalek Commander of Supreme Council, you will take me to the President!' grated the Dalek.
'You are a prisoner, why are you here?' the Captain retorted knowing too well that an alien dignitary as this could not be treated in the same way as a traitor.
'You will take me to the President, there is much to be discussed' insisted the Dalek but the Captain trained her gun on its eye.
'No Dalek, you were assisting a traitor. Is this an invasion of Gallifrey?' she asked and the Black Dalek focussed on her.
She was a female. The female was a leader as it was but this inferior creature was blocking its attempts to explain. It could exterminate her and them surrounding ity but it required assistance from these inferior creatures.
'This is not an invasion force, we came under a sign of peace. A message to be delivered to Gallifrey, to the President of the Time Lords' the Black Dalek grated.
'Peace, hah!' the Private scoffed loudly but the Captain was so easily swayed.
'Go on, I'm listening' the Captain replied and she watched as the Dalek continued to explain.
'The Doctor is not the enemy, he is not a traitor to the Time Lords! The Supreme Dalek has been eliminated by alien forces in collaboration with Davros. You must take me to the President immediately!' the creature screeched.
'Section, escort the prisoner to the High Council chamber, I will inform the President' she said.
The Doctor almost exploded with laughter at Omlyr's ludicrous suggestion, Omlyr's right eye twitch angrily as he approached the bars, gun raised.
'Silence!' he hissed agitatedly.
'You honestly believe that, don't you? You really think that the Time Lords will believe that I killed the Castellan and ripped the Supreme Dalek apart?' he scoffed aloud.
'The Daleks did, for a while at least' Omlyr retorted.
'True but the Daleks are close minded, tunnel vision, evil paranoids, I doubt the Time Lords are going to see your picture before their eyes?' the Doctor replied proudly.
'Oh they will Doctor, particularly when I hand to the President a verbal confession from you' Omlyr hissed.
'Rather hard though, since the evidence like before is all too obvious. The Daleks saw what they wanted to see, you've slipped up Commander, right now your slipping towards the barrier and about a receive a hefty whack as you hit the wall' the Doctor explained.
'With the right level of tweaking, people will see that Daleks are attacking Gallifrey and so on' he said and the Doctor came closer to the bars.
'So that's your game and the Time Lords miss Davros taking control of Skaro. Hmm? You and Davros plan this little coup, you dispatch as assassin to kill the Supreme and place me at the centre of things. How very stupid, you have no proof because you transducted my TARDIS leaving me with ample time to explain the situation to the Daleks. They know of Davros' scheme and I know that you gave the assassin the knife to implicate the Time Lords' the Doctor explained.
'Enough of my confession Doctor, now what about yours?' Omlyr snapped.
'Sticks and stones Commander, your words cannot hurt me nor do I feel scared?' the Doctor replied as he sat down on the bunk.
'I will be Master, Doctor, of all Gallifrey. This world is weak in the hands that control it now!' Omlyr explained.
'Seems all right at the moment? The clocks all tick in unison, the trains run on time' the Doctor breathed.
'But more than that! We could be so much more? A truly great empire! With those powers behind us, nothing could stop us!' Omlyr hissed, his eyes burning but the Doctor simply blew an impatient raspberry.
'We shall see, Doctor?' Omlyr replied as he strode angrily away.
'Shut the door will you? There's a draft' the Doctor called as Omly slammed the door hard.
President Juvil sat at his desk, flicking through the ancient bindings of 'Gallifreyan Law Before the Time of Us'. Dressed no longer in the huge, elaborate robes of state he sat in the golden robes addressing the books ancient yellowing pages.
A knock on the vast polished doors disturbed his reading, looking up he answered the caller.
'Come in?' he said and the door slowly swung open to admit the blonde haired Captain of the Chancellory Guard, removing her helmet she bowed before him.
'Lord President Juvil, a state of emergency must be declared' the Captain replied.
'I hope you plan to explain yourself Captain... Velan?' Juvil asked looking up at the Captain.
'A travel sphere has penetrated our defences, it was thought to be an alien attack as forces attacked the Panoptican' Velan replied.
Juvil looked quite anxious as he rose quickly from behind his desk.
'I should say. An invasion, completely unheard of in this day and age' Juvil retorted.
'No Sir, this was not an invasion. We have ascertained from Commander Omlyr of the Celestial Intervention Agency that the Doctor was leading this peace party' Velan replied quickly and Juvil sat down.
'Then what exactly is wrong? The Doctor has arrived safely and as for Omlyr, he's a lieutenant in the CIA' Juvil said loudly.
'That is it Sir, he claims that the Doctor is in league with the Daleks, which brings me to my second point. A sole Dalek survives from that attack, it demand to address the Council' Velan replied.
Juvil now rose again from his desk, staring Velan down with ancient grey eyes.
'Really? And why is the Doctor not to be present at this meeting?' Juvil asked.
'Omlyr has had him confined to the cells below the Capital awaiting termination' Velan replied.
'I see, very well Captain, I shall see this Dalek and Lieutenant Omlyr immediately afterwards, no perhaps you should inform him to be present with this Dalek. Best to deal with trouble all together!' Juvil answered crossing back to his desk.
'Yes Lord President, the Castellan has yet to be found' Velan replied.
'Well find him, I would like to hear what he has to say about this?' Juvil retorted and Velan bowed respectfully.
'Yes Lord President' Velan replied sincerely.
The Doctor paced up and down in his cell unable to relax, his mind ticking away quickly.
'Now the question is- how do I get out of this cell? With a key but I have nothing so I can abandon that option?' the Doctor breathed and stopped pacing.
'If only I'd taken notes on escapism- Houdini would have been out of this ages ago? Hmm? Now what, Doctor is Omlyr going to do now?' he said and then as he rested on the bars of the door he noted the gap on the door.
It was open, the door had been left open for him, presumably by Omlyr? He wanted him to fall straight into a trap! He was not going to fall for that one again!
The Doctor stepped back to his bunk and sat down just as the door opened at thend and in walked two Chancellery Guard escorting the beautiful figure of Chancellor Taara.
'Greetings Doctor, we had heard that you were in dire trouble?' she said as she halted before the cel.
'Hello Chancellor...?' the Doctor replied courteously, rising up and bowing his head.
'Naturally this is surely some mistake on the CIAs part, I will be attending a meeting on the High Council within the hour' she said.
'A mistake on CIA, I should watch Omlyr if I were you, he is making a mountain out of a molehill, particularly when he's driving the bulldozer!' the Doctor replied.
'I do not know what you mean by that Doctor, Lieutenant Omlyr is a perfect example of a model Time Lord' Taara replied.
'Oh he's a perfect example but Time Lord, no he falls short there! Me, in aid with the Daleks, no. I'm pretty sure my reputation proceeds me with them? Why would I ally myself with them?' the Doctor retorted.
'Why indeed but Omlyr is at least a Time Lord and has not resisted the urge to leave Gallifrey' Taara replied arrogantly.
'I see then go ahead to your meeting, I'm pretty sure that by the end Omlyr will firmly believe that I masterminded the whole ensemble. Just remember this Chancellor: What proof does he have?' the Doctor answered.
'We shall see Doctor, we have high hopes that something good will come?' Taara replied as she turned back towards the doors.
'Yes, otherwise it's pistols at dawn and Omlyr is holding both sets!' the Doctor added wearily and he he waved to her.
'Good luck?' he said as her and her escort vanished through the doors and he relaxed.
'Now Doctor, what are you going to do now?' he said aloud.
As Omlyr appeared on the communications screen of the Dalek ship, Davros wheeled around. In the background Daleks were operating consoles, intercepting the other transmissions.
'Servant, you interrupt my pleasure, my children are dying on the battlefield, their screams are music to me. What great report dares you to interrupt my concentration?' Davros demanded.
'I believe the Doctor is still causing trouble Master, his reputation on stopping any attempt to secure paranoia about the Panoptican is becoming ever stronger' Omlyr replied as he stood before the screen.
'You should prepared for this Commander, my forces are all ready engaged in battle, just keep them all busy and use the device. You shouldn't have any problems with the Doctor or resistance?' Davros rasped.
Omlyr held the disc up before the screen and Davros nodded, gesturing wth his claw.
'This weapon, will it be enough Master? The Time Lords are strong yet you claim that this device has power?' Omlyr babbled nervously.
'Dalekanium, the only useful component in whole of that race... war against them, against my children who scorn their father, it its the only way Commander, let no one stop you! Supreme control over Gallifrey will be yours to command!' Davros hissed impatient as another Dalek scream hit home.
'Supreme power? The Daleks will be destroyed and you Master will rule eternal and the Doctor will die!' Omlyr replied triumphant.
'Good, remember though to use it at the High Council, it is set for detonation, merely press down the control, it will give you... plenty of time to escape!' Davros rasped.
Omlyr nodded and bowed respectfully and then noted the lights on his wrist communicator.
'They are calling me now, good luck Master and when we meet again we shall both rule as masters!' Omlyr hissed.
His image faded from the screen and Davros raised his claw slowly.
'Pathetic cretin, the fool believes in power but there is price for everything! Skaro will be mine, I am its creator, the father of the Daleks I will rule as the Supreme Master and then Gallifrey will fall and then I shall rule as Emperor!' Davros roared.
President Juvil sat as did Chancellor Taara as Captain Velan entered the High Council chamber, removing her helmet and saluted.
'Lord President, Chancellor Taara, the prisoner' Velan replied.
'You were to inform Lieutenant Omlyr that his presence was also required at this meeting' Juvil said aloud.
'Apologies Lord President but I have informed him' Velan replied.
'Bring in this prisoner' Taara said and as Velan parted the Black Dalek glided through.
'You are the President of the Time Lords?' it asked and Juvil nodded.
'I am, would you care to explain yourself Dalek?' he asked.
'The Supreme Dalek has been murdered on Skaro, the Doctor was implicated in this crime. However the evidence points to an external influence. A traitor is present on Gallifrey' the Black Dalek grated.
'I hope you have evidence supporting this?' Juvil demanded.
'Is its aboard our ship, we were returning the Doctor to Gallifrey. We are here because a traitor has tried to implicate the Time Lords as the culprits!' the Black Dalek replied.
'That is true Lord President, I have brought this to you. My team found it within the Daleks' ship' Velan replied as she drew the blade from her tunic and passed it to the Chancellor.
'This weapon was located in the wreck of the Supreme Dalek, however our scientists have detected no such use against the creature' the Black Dalek added.
'What does this have to do with us? What makes you so sure that the Doctor is not the traitor?' Juvil asked.
'The Doctor is an enemy of the Daleks, why should he aid us? Davros is the cause here!' the Black Dalek snapped.
'Davros?' Juvil asked unsure of what it meant.
'Davros was a genetic engineer who created the Daleks, we believed he was dead but there are reports that he still lives?' Taara replied.
'You are claiming that someone here on Gallifrey is in league with this creator of yours?' Juvil asked and the Dalek's eye focussed on him.
'Correct, Davros has made many attempts to re-take our race. The Doctor believes that Davros is the culprit' grated the Black Dalek.
'We shall see then, Valen I want you to release the Doctor at once and bring here at once!' Juvil announced as he too received the knife.
It bore the seal of the High Council, was it true?
'Time is up and we are... low. How does that nursery rhyme go?' the Doctor muttered as he leant against the now open door of his cell.
'Time is up and we are slow, so hurry it's time to go! Yes that's it, now what was the rest of that verse?' he said but before he could go any further the door at the end opened and in walked Captain Velan.
'Ah, time's up?' the Doctor called but stopped as Velan halted before his cell.
'I was called to release you Doctor, President Juvil demands your presence' Velan replied.
'You needn't of bothered, Omlyr left the door open hoping to drag me into an ill-made trap?' the Doctor breathed as he climbed out of his cell.
'Omlyr? I believe you might be mistaken Doctor? He is the current leader of CIA' Velan retorted.
'Yes but he's also a murderer and a liar and a traitor! He tried to implicate me as the murderer of the Castellan' the Doctor replied.
'The Castellan?' Velan repeated and the Doctor slowly nodded.
'He's made a lot of mistakes, probably down to nervousness. He almost got the Daleks convinced had I not explained it to them. He's an amateur at this, he serves Davros!' the Doctor replied.
'What you have said will have to be repeated at at the meeting Doctor, before Omlyr and the Black Dalek' Velan replied.
'What?' the Doctor snapped looking to her, his face betraying a multitude of emotions.
'Oh no! If that Black Dalek has told the President everything, what does Omlyr have left to do? He'll loose everything but because he's nervous, he'll act desperately! Davros wanted a cataclysm to develop between our two races while he could sneak in to take Skaro but Omlyr's place alters it!' the Doctor replied.
'Whatever do you mean?' Valen asked as the Doctor paced before her, he was worried, deeply so.
'Davros used Omlyr to create a war between our two races but once he has Skaro what then? He doesn't need Omlyr anymore, that's why he looked so confident?' the Doctor breathed.
'You mean Davros will kill him?' Velan asked.
'I imagine that Davros will kill all of us. On Nekros he was a breeding a new race of Daleks, an army. While he causes a war between our races, he'll destroy the original Dalek race and take over Skaro and then... Gallifrey! Yes, of course Davros would destroy Omlyr and all of us so he could set his talons into Gallifrey!' the Doctor breathed.
'Then we must find Omlyr, I'll put out a general alarm on him at once!' Velan said but the Doctor stopped her.
'No, we must act strategically, dispatch your guards to search his apartments thoroughly, I'll attend the meeting!' the Doctor replied.
Omlyr stood outside the High Council chamber, the disk of Dalekanium in his robes. Merely press the right controls, announce that he has been called away and boom- acting Lord President Omlyr!
He paused for breath before knocking and entering the room.
'Forgive me Lord President, I was involved in other things?' Omlyr replied as he entered the room.
'Lieutenant, I demand a full explanation of your conduct pertaining to your report on this 'invasion'' Juvil asked.
'The Doctor was sighted aiding and abetting the Daleks, his place though irregular is clear. He has finally chosen his place against us' Omlyr replied.
'Really? You see we have been in talks with a dignitary who claims otherwise' Juvil retorted and gestured to the side and as Omlyr watched, the Black Dalek appeared.
'Your claims are irrelevant. The Doctor is no ally of the Daleks. There is a traitor here on Gallifrey responsible for the death of the Supreme Dalek' it grated.
'A likely story Lord President, we all know the Daleks lie easily as they kill others. The Doctor is the traitor, he has Castellan Canel' Omlyr replied.
Taara and Juvil gasped, looking at each other but suddenly the Dalek broke the silence.
'Incorrect, the Gallifreyan was all ready dead when we arrived. We defended ourselves against offensive fire!'
'That is a lie Lord President, that Dalek is trying to trick you!' Omlyr retorted loudly.
'How did he die Lieutenant?' Juvil asked noting Omlyr's reaction.
'He was found brutally stabbed in the courtyard, exactly where the Doctor arrived' he said.
'Incorrect, scan had detected the Gallifreyan had ceased existence hours before. We had only arrived, how did he die if the Doctor was aboard our ship?' the Black Dalek demanded.
'How indeed?' the Doctor suddenly asked as he appeared from behind them.
'At last you here Doctor, I have heard many amounts of trouble involving you, what do you have to say to this?' Juvil announced loudly.
'Well, Lord President perhaps it would best to hear the prosecution, see the evidence?' the Doctor replied and made a wink at Omlyr.
'You may begin your case Lieutenant Omlyr' Taara ordered.
The Chancellery guard by this time had swarmed over Omlyr's quarters, furniture had been pulled apart, papers lay scattered next to books and cushions covering the carpets.
'What exactly are we looking for Captain?' asked the snooty private as he finished pulling apart the desk drawers.
'Anything incriminating, the Doctor says that Omlyr is involved in this. Look out for anything abnormal or destructive?' Velan replied and so the search continued.
'Captain! In here' called a soldier and as Velan left the study she crossed into the now torn lounge, whose furniture had been torn asunder but by the fireplace there appeared to be an opening of some sort?
'In here Captain, I think we've found it' said the leader as he appeared in the aperture.
Stumbling inside, Valen glanced around her at the dark room, raising a powerful torch she glanced over a vast screen set in the wall and a circle of light projecting from the ceiling.
'It's a deep range temporal transmitter unit' she breathed.
Turning to others that remained by her she barked an order.
'I want to you two to secure this area immediately, everyone else come with me!'
She walked out into the lounge and looked to the others.
'Have you found anything else?' she asked but they shook their heads.
'Get along to the CIA, I want that section torn apart if you have to, interrogate anyone who has had contact with Omlyr!' Velan snapped and as the guards left the room, she resumed her attention to her wrist communicator.
'Battalions three and four get up to the High Council chamber, lieutenant Omlyr is to be arrested on sight, be wary he may be armed!' Velan spat.
'There you see Lord President, the Doctor is guilty or murder and intervention' Omlyr replied calmly.
'Then where is this weapon that the Doctor used? You claimed just now that you caught him in the act yet the Dalek says otherwise' Taara retorted.
'With respect Chancellor Taara, who would trust the word of a Dalek?' Omlyr replied politely.
'I would Lieutenant and I trust it more than I do with you. The Doctor has been known to support Gallifrey against many races, why then should he decide to attack us now?' Juvil asked.
'Precisely Lord President. Though this time I must say that the Black Dalek is right. A traitor was implicated by CIA, who took it upon themselves to have my TARDIS transducted here but unfortunately leave me alone' the Doctor replied.
'But you returned, the Castellan passed on the message that you should be returned to Gallifrey at once' Juvil said.
'Interesting that, I received no message, a threat from Gallifrey but no message. So that's why you did Omlyr, to try and stir things up but it didn't wash, did it?' the Doctor snapped.
'Doctor, you will apologise to Lieutenant Omlyr at once!' Taara ordered.
The Doctor raised his hands for silence and then bowed respectfully towards them both.
'I keep hearing this, but Omlyr has assured me that he is a Commander, in fact I believe that Captain Valen called you Commander?' the Doctor said looking at Omlyr.
'They are mistaken, I am a lieutenant of Celestial Intervention Agency and you Doctor should be under arrest!' Omlyr snapped.
'I should? Oh yes of course, you firmly believe that I killed the Castellan, was that before or after I arrived with the Daleks?' the Doctor asked and noted Omlyr's twitch.
'Do not move! All of you remain exactly where you are!' Omlyr suddenly shouted.
'Struck a nerve have I? What's the matter now, you great dream splintering away?' the Doctor called but Omlyr shoved the Doctor aside and drew the disc from his robes.
'Do not move! You are my prisoners!' he yelled hard and waved the disk in his hand.
'Ah, now if I'm not mistaken that would not be the best action to do with something like that?' the Doctor said weakly.
'Silence Doctor! I will have my power and no one here will stop me!' Omlyr cried.
'Alert! That is a Da...' the creature was abruptly interrupted.
'Silence creature, I will be Master and you won't stop me!' Omlyr yelled.

ENEMY OF THE DALEKS
EPISODE FOUR:
'Now get back against the wall! Move!' Omlyr ordered loudly, almost lashing his teeth.
'What, what is that thing?' Juvil half-heartedly asked.
'It is a Dalekanium field charge' the Black Dalek grated.
'Is that bad?' Juvil asked.
'Have you ever known the Daleks to create such weapons that splutter and spark? I believe I've seen a weapon like that before, believe me Lord President it's devastating' the Doctor breathed.
'Commander Omlyr? I'm pretty sure you don't really want to do this?' the Doctor asked but Omlyr waved the disc at him.
'Don't I Doctor? So quick to judge am I? Fools! For me, being the only survivor I will take over! I will be the only Master of Gallifrey!' Omlyr retorted angrily.
'Is that what Davros wants or you want? How goes his invasion?' the Doctor asked but Omlyr raised his staser, pressing the disc down firmly onto the table surface.
'I'm warning you Doctor!' Omlyr hissed but the Doctor advanced closer still, he noted how the staser was shaking greatly in Omlyr's hand.
'You see I ask you this because I know Davros and if he will willfully turn on the race that he created, what makes you think he'll honour your bargain? You're the assassin but does anyone ever honour them?' the Doctor asked.
Omlyr instead started to press down on the controls of the disc, the Black Dalek on seeing this gave out a squawk!
'Alert! You are attempting activate the explosive, manual activation is not an option!' warned the Dalek.
'Shut up! I will speak only and you Doctor will get back or I'll...!' Omlyr hissed as the Doctor advanced, hands raised.
'Kill me? Like you did with the Castellan, like you sent that raston warrior after the Supreme Dalek? You'll kill us all Omlyr if try to detonate that bomb, listen to the Dalek, it knows what that can do!' the Doctor retorted but Omlyr instead shook violently and screamed before raising the gun.
'Good bye Doctor!' he hissed and a gun spat death!
Outside the door there came a vast scream as Valen approached.
'Break the door down, hurry!' Valen cried and as the Guardsmen knocked at the door, again and again until it finally opened the first thing they saw was the President and Chancellor against the wall, the Doctor standing close by while Omlyr's dead form slumped to the ground, smoking.
'The Supreme Dalek is avenged' grated the Black Dalek and as a soldier trained his gun on it the Doctor raised his hands.
'It's all right, there's no need for more killing. There's your traitor, Lord President' the Doctor replied looking down at Omlyr's form.
'It's all right Captain, the emergency has been taken care of' Juvil replied as he returned towards his seat.
The Doctor eyed the Black Dalek carefully before addressing Captain Valen.
'Did you find anything?' he asked and Valen nodded.
'A deep space temporal transmitter hidden in his room, that would explain his connections with Davros, I've received word from the technicians. The Co-ordinates to that unit were safeguarded by a secure code but they managed to trace them beyond Gallifrey' Valen replied.
'A gift from Davros as was this thing' the Doctor said looking to the black disc, the size of a dinner plate sitting on the table.
'What is it?' Valen asked.
'A unique Dalek explosive and the key to Omlyr's control, had this gone off then the war would have certainly occurred!' the Doctor replied as he looked down at the device.
He paused as he looked to the dials on the disc, they were moving.
'What's wrong? What is it?' Valen asked but the Doctor looked grave.
'The bomb, I think it's active!' he whispered.
The Black Dalek on hearing this glided forward quickly, its eye focussing on the counter.
'The charge has been activated, the countdown has started' the Dalek squawked.
Quickly Valen hurried to Juvil's side.
'Come on Lord President, Chancellor we must get you both out of here!' Valen said flatly.
'You might have to hurry up there? I'm not sure how long we have left?' the Doctor replied as he tried to understand the counter on the side.
'The range of this weapon measures one hundred metres' grated the Black Dalek.
'Yes, why didn't I realise that? You can help me disarm this bomb' the Doctor replied and parted enough space for the Dalek to operate.
'Now what is the fuse on this bomb?' the Doctor asked.
'Twenty-seven rels' grated the Dalek immediately.
Twenty-seven rels! There was much time left, a rel was about 45 seconds or so long but it depended on how long it had been active for?
'Tell me basically what I have to do?' the Doctor asked in a calm, collected voice.
'The explosive device cannot be disarmed. Why should we disarm a weapon to destroy inferior creatures?' the Black Dalek replied.
'What? Well what happens if you have an accident?' he asked but the Dalek's eye twisted towards him.
'No errors are never made in Dalek calculations, all areas of a stratagem are secured before deployment of weaponry!' the creature explained.
'Well it doesn't exactly help us now, does it?' the Doctor snapped.
He stopped, thinking of what he could do? There had to be something but what?
'Fifteen rels remain' squawked the Black Dalek.
'Stay here, I'll be back in a minute!' the Doctor commanded and suddenly dashed off clutching the disc to his chest.
The Doctor hurried down the passageways quickly, descending stairs quickly in several bounds shoving Time Lords aside as he hurtled down another stairs.
As he reached the courtyard he looked about him but realised in time that it would work?
'TARDIS cradles are too far away, so how about?' the Doctor muttered breathlessly before he hurried out of the courtyard and into the gardens.
The peaceful garden that was tended to by many gardeners but not today they were? Instead he ran as fast as his lungs would allow.
'Now then? Discuss or frisbee?' he wondered but unable to tell how long he had left he whirled around and threw it far, watching how it flew through the air.
He smiled breathlessly watching it vanish, then he remembered to run...
A field of green swayed gently in the light touch of the wind's breeze. Here in this patch of ground might have existed a thousand million minute creatures as the dark disc settled gently crushing the grass slowly.
The explosion that resounded was vast, the sound-wave carried far and quickly into the ears of the Time Lords in the capital but to the Doctor, who was just on the outside was thrown forward quickly to the ground.
'What in the seven stars of Omega was that?' Juvil asked as the noise invaded his ears.
'The bomb going off I would imagine? I thought it would be closer than that?' Taara replied.
'The Doctor, he must have done it? Captain, we shall return to the High Council chamber now, there is much to be discussed' Juvil replied as immediately Velan released custody of them.
'Lord President, what actions should I undertake now?' Velan asked and Juvil looked to the young looking woman.
'This action against the Time Lords, we will require a newer leader in place of Omlyr within the CIA, I trust you Velan will be able to fill in successfully?' Juvil sais.
'CIA? Lord President I am Captain of the Chancellery Guard, I do not wish to lead a corrupt wing as that?' Velan argued quickly.
'Too right, very well in the absence of a new Castellan I convey on you position of Commander and acting Castellan. You will take care of all duties while myself Chancellor Taara discuss the matters purtaining to this situation' Juvil replied.
'I am honoured Lord President, I shall seek out the Doctor, there is still some work that I believe only he can deal with?' Velan answered and bowed.
'Then by all means go, you are Commander now' Juvil replied.
'Guards, escort the Lord President and Chancellor to the High Council chamber, I am going to find the Doctor' Velan decided and left the group quickly.
The Doctor pulled himself up from the field and blinked away as he climbed wearily to his feet and looked across to see a vast smoking crater where the field beyond had once stood.
'Well that was exciting' the Doctor muttered and then slowly he turned and carried on back towards the capital.
The Black Dalek by this time had chosen to explore the Panoptican rather than obey the Doctor's orders. Daleks were superior beings and any addition to the Dalek race would be aid matter well, particularly with Davros' invasion.
Even the very thought of that creature poluting and corrupting the Dalek's destiny made the Dalek shake as it glided along.
Suddenly it came to a door, its eye glanced around as a guard suddenly raised its eye to focus on him.
'Where is the Doctor?' it grated, feining being lost.
'The Doctor is not here, these are Presidential apartments, you may not enter!' the guard insisted.
'Very well, I will continue' grated the Black Dalek and it glided on, making note of what was where?
Below in the courtyard appeared the Doctor's weary form, he still felt tired from his run. As he walked up the stone steps he became aware of someone approaching him.
It was Valen, he smiled as he greeted her.
'Doctor, you survived' she exclaimed.
'Just about, here and there Captain. I trust everyone is all right?' the Doctor asked.
'The President and the Chancellor are going to discuss how we should approach the matter?' Velan replied.
'What about the Black Dalek? Is that still up there?' he asked.
'I don't really know, I didn't see it, does it matter?' Valen asked and the Doctor half-heartedly waved it aside.
'No, it doesn't but another group of Daleks does, the balance of power has changed in this system. I've seen the future but enough of that. Perhaps you could show me this transmitter that Omlyer used?' he said and Valen nodded.
'His quarters are this way but pardon my ignorance for asking but why should we want to approach it? Omlyer is dead' Valen retorted as she led him along.
'Fairly true but he won't be using it, it should be interesting to check up on the opposition? If Davros has any grand plans for invasion he would be massing his troops about now?' the Doctor replied slowly and then smiled.
'You know I bet Davros won't be expecting this?' he added.
'What about the Daleks?' Valen asked and the Doctor shook his head.
'We'll cross that bridge when we come to it, after all I've still got a few tricks up my sleeve' he murmured as Valen led him on into the capital.
'Ah hah! Yes this is certainly a transmitter and receiver, rather like a vast telephone, it even comes with a dull sounding voice attached' the Doctor said cheekily as he climbed into the room.
'Then what is your plan Doctor? Will this connect to the Dalek ship?' Valen asked.
'I believe it will, now I wonder, could you find that Dalek?' the Doctor asked looking to his side.
'Of course Doctor, what do you want me to do with it?' she asked and the Doctor smiled, this was starting to become a 'Romana' moment.
'Keep it busy, entertain it? It's simply the last remnant of its race, I don't particularly want to be accused of genocide again?' the Doctor replied.
'All right Doctor, when should I come to find you?' she asked but he shook his head.
'I'll come looking for you instead, this may take some time?' the Doctor replied and as Valen left the opening the Doctor addressed the screen.
'Now I wonder how Omlyer worked it?' he said and took a step forward briefly, the moment he did the screen fizzled into life.
'Ah, motion sensitive, excellent' he said and stepped full into the beam of light and the screen before him fizzled into existence.
The Doctor felt in great awe as the screen cleared, the electronic pulse echoed in his ears from the hidden speakers.
Then a vast image of a Dalek appeared before him, unlike the usual grey or silver ones he had seen, this was white with gold plating.
'Report?' it grated loudly and the Doctor flinched as the sound cut into his ears.
'I want to speak to Davros, your Emperor?' he said slowly and was afraid that the Dalek hadn't heard him but immediately it swung about.
'Emperor, there is a report from Gallifrey' it grated.
'Excellent!' cackled a familiar tone and as the Doctor looked there appeared Davros, although much better off? He reminded himself that this was before Omega.
'Hello there, would you accept a collect call frpom Gallifrey?' the Doctor asked.
'What? Why are you still alive Omlyer? Has the Doctor been destroyed?' Davros snapped but the Doctor scratched his hair.
'There has been a slight flaw in your plans, they've fallen through Davros' the Doctor replied but Davros merely hissed.
'Explain yourself?' he rasped loudly.
As Valen left Omlyr's quarters she spied the alien form of the Black Dalek and darted out towards the galleries.
'Excuse me?' she called but as it turned, she had ran out of further things to say as it glided closer.
'You are the leader of Chancellery Guard' the creature stated.
'The Doctor told me to find you, you are to be... treated as an ambassador here' Valen said quickly.
Political positions were of no intewrest to the Dalek, it knew that the Doctor required it. Its race was being threatened, it knew what could happen.
'Where is the Doctor? You will take me to him!' the Dalek grated.
'Look here, do you need anything...?' she asked but on looking at the creature, Daleks had everything they needed within that casing.
'You will take me to the Doctor! You will Obey!' the creature insisted waving its gun at her and reluctantly Valen fell.
'Follow me' she said and was surprised at the response from behind her.
'I Obey' grated the Black Dalek.
Inside the chamber the Doctor was trying not to give too much away?
'So the bomb failed, I will still triumph, the attack has proved successful, I control Skaro!' Davros roared.
'True but not Gallifrey nor will you ever, you see Davros you simply won't succeed' the Doctor retorted.
Davros' eye flashed as he snarled viciously towards the screen.
'Omlyr, do not take that tone with me! I made you what you are!' he hissed but the Doctor sighed wearily.
'Davros has the penny dropped yet? I am not Omlyr nor thankfully will I ever be? Sorry to rain on your parade and all but your invasion is over!' the Doctor replied.
'Doctor! You have regenerated once more, you should have died?' Davros hissed agitatedly.
'Yes, I should have Davros but I never put full trust in megalomaniacs, particularly amateurish ones at that!' the Doctor retorted.
'You forget, I still control Skaro and soon I will hold Gallifrey's power!' he roared.
'True, you hold Skaro but for how long? Your Imperial creations are no better than the other Daleks, your speech was useless. Now if you were the Sontarans, that would be entirely different!' the Doctor replied humorously.
'The Doctor's in here' Valen said gesturing to Omlyr's quarters.
'You will wait here!' ordered the Black Dalek as it glided slowly into the room.
'Doctor, I shall take Gallifrey and you shall beg before me to kill you quickly from the pain I shall unleash on your people!' Davros snapped.
'Sticks and stones Davros, I'm not impressed? Come on consider it? The Daleks don't need you anymore?' the Doctor retorted.
'Do they? They are foolish children to abandon their creator!' he hissed.
'Foolish? No, they don't a half-man, half-Dalek to hand them a few sweets from a jar? They are stronger than you Davros, they can reach the jar on their own and they never need any help from anyone!' the Doctor snapped.
'If they abandon me then they abandon their future!' Davros growled.
'No Davros, you are their past and the past is dead to them! They don't need you anymore and you'll take control of them!' the Doctor snapped but Davros managed a cruel grin.
'I would never have believed that you Doctor would support them, creatures you hate so much!' he declared triumphantly.
'On their own, they're like a force of nature but when they're directed by a revolting creature like you, a mind as yours, so twisted and distorted that killing is the only way forward then they are nothing! You won't succeed no matter what you believe?' the Doctor replied.
'It matters not Doctor, my Imperial race shall spread, all renegade Daleks will be exterminated. I will be master of the Daleks!' Davros grunted.
The Doctor, fed up with this one sided conversation merely stepped back and Davros faded from the screen.
'Oh well, that appears to be it. I can do nothing to interfere, I must abide by the laws!' he said to himself loudly.
'Doctor! Doctor! You will reveal yourself immediately!' ordered the Black Dalek.
The Doctor sighed for a moment, his mind had completely forgotten that last formality. He breathed for a second before clearing his throat and left the room.
The Black Dalek turned, startled by the Doctor's sudden appearance.
'Doctor, the Dalek race is dying' it grated and the Doctor could not help but feel pity for the creature.
'Davros has apparently succeeded in taking over Skaro, I had thought that your defences might have halted his advance?' the Doctor replied feeling a touch uneasy as he advanced slowly toward the creature.
'Then the Dalek race is dead and Davros has won?' the Dalek asked and the Doctor, still cautious nodded his head.
'I'm afraid so, look I... I really shouldn't be telling you this, by breaking the first law of time I endanger the future' the Doctor replied.
The Dalek instead watched him, its eye re-focussing on him as he stopped five feet from it, hands behind his back.
'I'm not from this time period at all, I know what will happen. Since you are the last Dalek I believe it won't make a difference? Davros' Daleks will grow in strength, he will discover most likely through Omlyr that a Gallifreyan weapon lies on Earth. A stellar engine. He will attempt to seize it and alter Skaro, terraforming it into a new Gallifrey, however I will alter the programme and it wipe eradicate Skaro completely' the Doctor explained.
'Then Davros destroys Skaro, Davros kills the Dalek race!' grated the Black Dalek agitatedly.
'Yes, he destroys everything. I can do nothing more than this, history must occur as it has for me. I hope you understand that?' the Doctor asked.
The creature's casing shook lightly before it wheeled around to face the Doctor properly.
'Doctor, I will depart in our time ship. I must go and fight Davros' the creature replied.
The Doctor swallowed nervously and backed away as the creature glided towards the door.
'Look here, you don't have to go? You could be made honorary?' the Doctor said quickly but even then he knew that he was pushing his luck?
The Black Dalek's dome swivelled round to face him.
'You are the Doctor, you were not the enemy. Davros must be stopped. I am Dalek and fight for my race!' it grated and then without notice it resumed its journey forward.
As the Doctor glanced after it, he became aware that he was not alone, Valen stepped across the threshold.
'You shouldn't have said that? Was it all true?' she asked and he nodded.
'Every word of it Captain, what could I say? That Dalek has right to life as much as any other being in the universe. I had information that I thought would make it feel better but seems that I have only worsened the situation' the Doctor sighed.
'Shall I allow it to go? That is a time ship, it could try and affect things? You know what they're like!' Valen said quickly.
The Doctor folded his arms as he looked down at her, his stare fixing on her.
'Captain, I doubt that creature would attempt such a thing. It was a Black Dalek, they do have certain thoughts of their own? They're not stupid' the Doctor retorted.
Valen looked down to her wrist communicator and pressed the control. Immediately a man's face appeared across it.
'Captain?' asked the Soldier.
'This is Commander Valen and acting Castellan, the Black Dalek will be leaving via its time ship in the courtyard, no action is to be taken, allow it no resistance' she said firmly.
'Yes Commander' replied the soldier.
The Doctor looked impressed at her, her mood and behaviour was different almost brimming with confidence.
'Acting Castellan?' the Doctor asked and Valen nodded.
'The President confirmed it on me a short while ago but as for now I am keeping the law on Gallifrey together' Valen replied.
'Well, I believe I owe you an apology acting Castellan, I have broken the first law of time. I'm a bit rusty on penalty fees these days?' the Doctor said quickly and politely.
'Not to worry Doctor, I see that your actions were not dumbly made, you had a purpose, perhaps I can escort you to the High Council chamber? President Juvil will want to thank you in person' Valen replied and the Doctor smiled.
'I am in a bit of a rush really, perhaps you could direct me to my TARDIS, that is is if you would explain the situation and reason to the President?' the Doctor added quickly.
'I shall see what I can do Doctor?' Valen replied and she led him from the room, leaving the room, although torn apart silent and still.
The Black Dalek glided along slowly, its way had been blocked by a few Time Lords but they had thankfully moved out of the way in time before anything nasty could happen?
It finally reached the vast silver sphere and as it looked around its environment once more it glided up the ramp and into the ship. Its task was nearly complete.
A few seconds later the air within the courtyard seemed to blur and then slowly the ship vanished out of focus and was gone.
Across the other side of the Panoptican arrived the Doctor and Valen at the TARDIS cradles.
'Ah the old girl, keeping well I trust?' he asked aloud but not to Valen but towards his ship.
'Omlyr had a patrol go through it, it might be a bit messed up?' Valen said as the Doctor pulled the key from his inside pocket.
'As is history at the moment, not to worry though Commander, myself will deal with the problem or rather is' the Doctor replied.
'Is there really nothing we can do against Davros?' she asked and the Doctor looked to her.
'Trust your judgement but remain wary of them, they're out there now. He's in control but soon he'll loose that and everything. I've seen it happen' the Doctor replied and smiled.
'What about that transmitter? Should I have it destroyed?' Valen asked and the Doctor tapped at his forehead and then to her.
'Trust your judgement Commander, I doubt that anyone else was involved in Omlyr's scheme but perhaps it's best to take things as they come to you? They will, I can assure you of that' the Doctor replied ad waved once before entering the TARDIS.
Valen stood there, tall and proud and saluted the TARDIS as it groaned out of existence.
'Commander?' came a busy sounding voice and looking down to her communicator she could see President Juvil across it?
'Lord President?' she said, quite surprised by this.
'Where is the Doctor? I would like to thank him in person for what he has done?' Juvil said but quickly Valen answered him.
'The Doctor had to go, something came up' she said.
'It always does with him, look Commander you must come to the High Council Chamber, there are important things to be discussed' Juvil replied.
'Immediately Lord President' she said and pressed the communicator off, she looked around her at the vast TARDIS cradles and turned on her heel and marched off proudly.
'Where to go from here?' the Doctor breathed as he stood at the controls.
'A whole universe waiting for me to explore and I haven't the foggiest idea of where to go next? Decisions?' he huffed as he looked about him.
Was it right to have told that Dalek the future or indeed allow it to go off like that? Certain destruction but in the name of its race!
'I wonder where you would like to go, old girl?' the Doctor sighed as he patted the controls.
Skaro lay in ruins, the vast surface of Dalek structures had been blow apart, the grey ash of the ground was littered with Dalek parts burning while amongst them glided the victors.
'Supreme power is now mine but to hold Supreme control over this universe I need more than Skaro, I need Time!' roared Davros on the bridge of his craft.
'But you can have that power' spoke a voice and as Davros turned, there stood a figure before him.
'Who are you? What are you doing here?' Davros hissed but the blue hued figure, who form was blurred raised a hand.
'Why strive for nothing when you could have everything? The ultimate power of the Time Lords' the figure said.
'Ultimate power? You will tell me! Tell me and I will rule as the Supreme Master!' Davros roared but the figure chuckled.
'Yes, I can see that you are the right candidate? On Earth it lies, a device capable of writing planets. In the temporal zone one nine six three, it has one guardian, an enemy we both share- the Doctor. But you will take this weapon and you will be successful!' the figure replied and slowly it faded away.
Davros was still for a moment, his claw flexing and unflexing.
'Yes, to hold that power I will no longer be Kaled or weak I will be strong. I will govern planets, I will control and death! I will rule as Emperor over the universe, my Daleks will bring the power and I shall become the Supreme Controller of everything!' Davros roared.
'Only the beginning, I shall pluck the power from the Time Lords and I will become their leader, their God!' Davros screeched viciously.
For him, it was the beginning, only a matter of time...
A crack of thunder echoed across the sky as the grey sphere of the time ship solidified into existence.
There was a brief moment before the door slid open and the Black Dalek descended the ramp onto the smooth metallic surface.
It looked around carefully at the alien atmosphere then at the two arrivals before it, its eye looked at them and then it felt safe.
'Report?' demanded the gold and black form of the Supreme councillor.
'I have returned from Gallifrey, I possess information that is is critical to the survival of the Dalek race' the Black Dalek grated.
'Hyperlink has failed with Skaro' grated the Supreme Councillor.
'Davros' forces have taken full control of Skaro, we are the last' the Black grated.
'Nova Skaro is prepared, we will still triumph. The inhabitants of Spirodon have now been exterminated, terraforming has been completed' the Supreme Councillor explained.
'I possess information referring to Gallifreyan security, which will be of use to the Daleks' added the Black Dalek.
Their eyes followed an air patrol of hoverbouts as they skimmed through the air.
'All reserve Dalek forces are being directed here. Our place on Skaro is lost but here on Nova Skaro we will continue, the Dalek race is not dead. We will prepare and then we will strike! Nothing will stop the Daleks!' grated the Supreme Councillor.
Spirodon, once lush and green now cold and dead, metallic surfaces. Cities stretching far as the eye could see and amongst everyone of them Daleks were working.
As another Dalek ship descended through the atmosphere toward the landing bay the Supreme Councillor eyed the sky.
'The Daleks will never be defeated, we shall strike and the universe will be ours to control!' the Dalek grated.
'Victory for the Daleks is assured!' added the Black Dalek.
'Victory! Victory! Victory! Victory! Victory! Victory! Victory!' the three Daleks grated, transmitting the signal, all Dalek continued to grate that Supreme word forever getting louder and louder and louder!
The Daleks would never be defeated.
