Hi Peet, I'm the "fool" (I don't take that as an insult, rather the opposite: fools are necessary) you replied to a while ago (cigarettes-forum).
Well, this is just to say "no hard feelings", I've got a rather dark and twisted sense of humour and I like to use shock-tactics, but I DO smoke (sorry mate).
Well, I don't resent your not-smoking (although judging by the pic on your page you should: a cigarette dangling from the mouth would be a nice addition), but put yourself in my shoes! I mean, let's turn this whole thing around, and imagine all smokers would react like (most, not all) non-smokers do now, and force their opinion down those non-smokers' throats, no matter what reason (we can imagine a "good" reason for it while we're at it, can't we?)... Would you, as non-smoker, like it? I doubt it.
Maybe we started off on the wrong foot, and of course we could continue argueing about (not-)smoking, but what's the point? Neither one of us will be persuaded by the other. I respect your opinion (no matter WHAT I wrote, that was just shock-tactics), but I expect the same thing in return. It's that simple.
Anyway, in the meantime I've read some of your other entries on the site, and they weren't as "hardline", and that's the reason why I posted this reply HERE, and not in the cigarettes-forum.

As you say, no hard feelings. You're free to force your opinion down my throat, metaphorically speaking, just as long as you don't smoke near me! 
I go to that forum to blow off some steam after I have had bad "anonymous" tobacco experiences - if I can trace the source of the smoke, I generally deliver my opinions forcefully in person. I've taken to socialising on-line more and more because I can do it in my own home - the manners of smokers in pubs appear to be increasingly non-existent...
Anyhow, enjoy the Guide - we need all the twisted humour we can find!
