The District Gnurse came round first thing and redressed my leg.
George paid a flying visit and collected my new TalkTalk router from the parcel office for me.
Aidan came round for a chat; I swapped him a working Kindle for his broken one and he took my bins out for me.
I fitted my new "Super-router". It claims to provide "The fastest possible Broadband experience" on both ADSL and Fibre. As far as the ADSL performance goes, I'm really not impressed. It's about a third of the speed of my previous £9 Chinese router. My fibre goes "live" on Wednesday; here's hoping it works better with that.
I would have gone round to Bisset and Hazel's tonight, but my left hand is still screwed up and my left arm still hurts - if I made it into one of their armchairs there's no way I would be able to get up again!
I watched the final episode of "Boardwalk Empire", and I am about to head off to watch some "Agents of SHIELD", followed by some random "NCIS" spin-offs.
A reasonably good day.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
