The day *nearly* went to plan...
When my Social Worker hadn't appeared by 10:45am, I 'phoned her to see what was up. She assured me that when I called her on Friday to tell her the storage had fallen threough, I told her not to bother coming. Perhaps that's how *she* remembers it; what *I* remember is telling her that the storage was no longer available, but as George was still dropping the keys off for her she should swing by and get them so she could let the recycling people in.
Anyhoo. The District Gnurse was next then after a quick lunch I was off to the dentist.
That, too, wasn't as expected. I thought I was going in to get pins fitted and a mould taken for my metal caps. But instead it was a repeat of my last appointment (lots of anaesthetic and drilling ) as x-rays showed that the "root canal" work hadn't quite succeeded in killing off all the roots in my teeth.
Later in the evening I made it round to Bisset and Hazel's. George, Martin, Fiona and Richard were also in attendance.
When I got home, I watched "New Tricks" and "Never Mind the Buzzcocks".
