I dozed off for an hour or so during dialysis, but it wasn't enough. 
Tony the bus driver was kind enough to run me straight home. 
Most nights I'm last off the bus, so my four minute journey takes over an hour. 
I got in, warmed up a macaroni pie and flopped down to watch "Doctor Who". 
But instead of waking up a little as I watched, as I usually do, the "weight of sleep" pressed down upon me. I *just* managed to wake myself up enough just after midnight to drag myslef through to the bedroom for my evening meds, but as soon as I returned to the living room and sat down I fell fast asleep again. 
In the ward, I watched "The Simpsons" and the first two episodes of the new series of "Homeland". 
Phenomenally tired.

Catching up on all my messages I missed last night, I just discovered that one of my online friends ("Helen of Troy") died unexpectedly last night. 
She was the only person I ever Skyped with at any length, and was responsible for posting many purchases from Archie McPhee's from the States to me. I'll miss her.
