I got home from dialysis last night and switched on the TV to watch "Longmyre". No picture. No sound. It just "clicked" about every 30 seconds and blinked the power light. I unplugged it and plugged it back in - no change in the symptoms.
I fired up my "Surface" tablet and went to TVCatchup.com. They had all the Freeview channels *except* 5USA.
I missed "Longmyre". Instead, I ate a meal of pâté, cheese and potato waffles on toast and tried to come up with a plan to get round the lack of a TV... About an hour later I decided to plug it back in for one last try... and it worked!
It looks like the earlier unpluggings just weren't long enough.
I watched "Bojack Horseman" and half of "Red: Werewolf Hunter" before I fell asleep in the armchair.
