I've been coughing my lungs up since Friday, and now my nose is running less but the top of my chest feels sore and inflamed. I've arranged for a GP callout; lets hope it doesn't clash with the District Gnurse. 
Yesterday went well, considering. I met up with three of the folk from my website for lunch, had a rather lovely Duck, Pineapple and Peppers dish followed by a dish of Red Berry Sorbet wrapped round Vanilla Ice-cream 
and then CampbellClogs paid for my meal! 
I spent another night sleeping upright in the armchair, because the cough is much worse when I'm lying down. 
I say "sleeping", but the cough still woke me up every hour or so.
I was planning to go round to Bisset and Hazel's tonight, but I think I'll call it off. With this cough, being in a smoker's house, even if they're not actually smoking at the time, would probably kill me. 
Last night I watched "Hot in Cleveland" and "The Bridge US".

Oh, and for anybody keeping track, Mother has been moved to Banff hospital where she will stay for at least a week. This will give her a chance to see some cancer specialists and physiotherapists, while giving my Sister a bit of a break.
