The District Gnurse and the doctor showed up ten minutes early, then kept me stuck in the armchair with my shoes off for two hours. The upshot is that I get to keep all my toes for the moment, but I have to switch to a new two-day-a-week cleaning and dressing regime.
I've been "running late" ever since. For example, I just started the tumble drier... er... tumbling, when by my original schedule I would have been emptying it and sorting out clean clothes for the morning by now.
The one bright spot was that Eddie Mair read out one of my emails on PM. I was pointing out that every time the Radio 4 news people spoke about "ISIS" I couldn't take the item seriously because all I could think about was Sterling Archer. (No relation )
I haven't watched any TV today yet. I plan to watch "Law & Order", and "The Graham Norton Show" with a bit of radio in the middle before I crash.
Tomorrow, if no blood comes out of my "tubes", I'm doomed to go in for a "minor procedure".
