I got onto the machine an hour later than normal, so I got off an hour later too. They paid for a taxi, but it was still about quarter past nine when I got in. 
And I've had a series of kitchen catastrophes. The fuse blew in my oven last night, so I wasn't able to heat anything, and when I got home I discovered the 'fridge has stopped working (hopefully just because the attached freezer needs defrosting) so I can't chill anything either. 
Much of this week's food will need to be thrown out. 
I watched "24", "Orphan Black" and "Those Who Kill US" in the ward on my tablet, and "Andromeda" when I got home.
