Well... Not *that* expensive (£3 a month extra) and not *that* big an upheaval. I've authorised 34SP to set up a Virtual Private Server and move my "Mustardland" site onto it, hopefully on Monday. 
All their shared servers have either been upgraded to PHP 5.5, or will be in the next few weeks, and our site only runs reliably on PHP 5.2. 
So, we need to pay a little extra to get our own server to allow us to specify the PHP version that runs on it. Which will fix several of the most annoying bugs that have been plaguing us since our prevoius "migration" without me needing to hire anybody to decypher Bob's code... 
Other than that, I got a visit from my pal George, who needed to borrow a 'phone to call BT and complain that *his* 'phone wasn't working. 
And I treated myself to a couple of large vodka'n'Cokes plus a small glass of "Messer Schmitt". 
I watched "24", "Have I Got News for You", "QI" and "The Graham Norton Show".
