I've made tentative arrangements to pay my Mum a visit this Saturday. 
Between now and then I have an appointment to get my eyes checked, and theoretically my new specs should finally arrive. (I got the second email saying they had been "dispatched by Royal Mail First Class", but this one actually said a date on it, and from that I expect them to arrive on Friday morning... 
)
Not much has been happening at this end. I watched "Republic of Doyle", "Midsomer Murders", "Suspects" and "Law & Order: SVU". 
I'll watch "Line of Duty" before I crash.
