I was halfway considering posting a Journal last night, when my router stopped working. By the time I'd tried restarting it, then turning it off a while to cool down, I was too tired to fire up the computer again. smiley - sorry

Annoyingly, although I managed to get all the "lights on", it still wouldn't let my wi-fi radio connect, so I slept in silence last night. smiley - zzz

Yesterday was pretty quiet. I watched a lot of TV, and surfed the web all afternoon, but other than that didn't do anything useful. smiley - blush

I watched (lots of) "Covert Affairs", "Vera" and "Battlestar Galactica". smiley - cdouble

Shame, man. Anyhoo I appear to be winning, networkwise... just got to get the wifi working now. Wired connections appear to work.

Be well.

Thanks. smiley - brave

On the double-posting front, I may have spotted why we're the only site currently noticing a problem...

Apparently Chrome browsers had a bug back in May of 2011 that was sufficiently problematic that all "officially supported" PHPBB boards added a feature that compared every user's post to their previous one and rejected it if it was identical. This patch passed us bye, so we're seeing an apparent recurrence of that bug. smiley - facepalm Bob has been informed. smiley - headhurtssmiley - wahsmiley - geek

In fact, further investigation showed that PHPBB was officially patched because ofd this as far back as 2008, when Chrome was first released. smiley - geek
