The flaky 640GB HDD has stopped connecting.
I got about a third of the data (mostly TV shows) off overnight and this morning/afternoon, but the connection is incredibly flaky and prone to crash if I'm doing anything else on this computer at the same time. Even when it's working, the adapter I got from Grambo is only USB1, so I can't get a dataflow of more than 10Mbit/Second. And it was locked up overnight when I thought it was copying.
I'm going to let it cool off overnight and have another go in the morning.
There's little else to report. When it was connected I spent much of the day in the armchair listening to the radio/watching TV, almost afraid to move in case it crashed...
I watched "Futurama", "Warehouse 13", "24", "Stargate SG-1" and "Mock the Week". I'll probably pick something else off Netflix to watch before I crash.
