It's been stewingly hot today. 
I've alternated between sitting under the cascade of cool air fron the gizmo I bought yesterday, and lying panting on my bed.
For those waiting for further tales of my rotting foot, I haven't taken my sock off yet. I'll call the podiatrist first thing tomorrow morning.
