I still can't boot my Windows 2000 machine, the battery is running down on my eee PC, THE PENGUINATOR has no useful software on it, so, I had to bite the bullet...
...I fired up my "XP Home" machine.
It's attached to the TV, so I get a sore neck using it. Xandros still haven't fixed their download server so I'm (very slowly) downloading a copy of Xandros 4.0 off BitTorrent, just to put it on THE PENGUINATOR to see how it handles the dual-screen configuration.
I'm pleasantly surprised by the taste of Tesco's "Diet Cola with Almonds". It would be awfully easy to hide cyanide in there, though...
I watched the final "Doctor Who" of the series. Acting excellent, effects good, plot crap, I'm afraid. I also watched "Doctor Who Confidential" and I'm off to watch "Reign of Fire".
I'm off to see Bob tomorrow, bearing goodies.

So, what's your opinion, as a bonafide Brit (as opposed to merely an American who was raised on Monty Python, grew up with Douglas Adams, has ascended through Terry Pratchett, and for a while sauntered vaguely upwards via Neil Gaiman, i.e. me), of the new Dr. Who series?

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
