The day started badly, with a rush to the toilet at 6:30am, 7am, 7:30...

I felt like , but I had to make the final arrangements for the meeting tomorrow, where the six main participants were getting together to sign the Articles of Association for the graphics business. I spent five solid hours alternating between telephone, email and toilet (not counting a ten minute visit from my friend Bob who dropped by to aquire a network hub and some cables ); my stomach problems caused me to miss an important 's appointment (I needed to get a form filled in for the Benefits Agency, but I was stuck on the toilet for the best part of an hour through the time of the appointment...) and finally, about 3:30pm I had contacted everybody, filled in every form and emptied my stomach contents completely. It was time for a lie down...

Having had less than 5 hours' sleep earlier, I easily dozed off for another two hours. I got up about 5:30, had my supper, then...

I got a phone call telling me that not everybody could make it to the meeting after all. One of our number would have to cry off for a week due to illness. This meant that we had to postpone the whole thing, as we all need to be there at the same time to have our signatures witnessed. Which means that we won't have our Certificate of Incorporation by the end of the week after all. Which means we won't get the new copy of the lease to sign on Monday.

I then had to spend the best part of an hour contacting everybody else concerned, telling them the meeting was postponed and apologising to them for hassling them earlier in the day when there had been a rush on to get information to the solicitor.

My stomach still doesn't feel fully settled. I can't be certain if the stomach troubles are stress-related, or whether the stress is partly a result of the bubbling in my guts. I just know this was a day I'd rather have done without.

I'm off for an "early night" ; I have a heap of stuff to do tomorrow that I arranged when I thought I'd be getting my fares refunded by the Jobcentre. Most important is a visit to the supermarket, as all I have in the house is some bread, margarine, packet soup and orange squash.
