The antibiotics have left me a little weary, but my mind still functions to a useful degree.
I made it over to the Artists' premises earlier; the scrap metal and toxic chemicals have both been removed, and I arranged for the uplift of the rubbish skip. Tomorrow morning I'll be meeting the landlord's agent over there, with a view to discussing the mundane stuff (refuse collections, lighting in communal areas etc.)
I spent the first half of the day either trawling round thge premises or on the phone, then I had a bit of a lie-down, watched "Buffy" and found myself being dragged out to help my friend Gordon install his new 120GB HDD. The installation was easy, but time-consuming (it took the best part of an hour to format under Windows 2000 disk manager!), then he wanted me to install his scanner. It was a parallel port scanner, unsupported in Win2K, and he'd formatted and reused the original Win98 driver floppy. I went to get a driver off the web, at which point I was informed I would have to fix the web connection first. I got them back online, then downloaded a couple of different drivers before giving up and coming home for a lie-down.
