I just watched the Kerrang! music awards; only an hour long, but far more entertaining than the Oscars.
My pal "Bushy" Bob popped by this morning with a ZIP disk containing the Windows 95 install files... I've spent most of the rest of the day reinstalling Windows on a 486/33 with a 120MB HDD for my pal Graham. The difficult bit (apart from the laptop not having a CD drive) is trying to get Word 97 and Doom on there too... I'm still working on it.
While Windows was copying to the hard drive the first time (don't ask. ) I paid a visit to the
to have my blood pressure checked (she confirmed I still have one) and have various assorted wounds on my legs taped back together... The problem is that I have no peripheral vision, and visitors to my flat often move furniture, especially a small, sharp-cornered coffee table, subtly - just enough for me to walk into them and hack holes in my lower legs.

I already use spray glue on the carpets to stop the edges of the rugs from rolling up and tripping me...

you want to be careful with that you might stick yourself to the carpet, mind you if you did that there'd be no danger of you tripping over the ends of the carpet or any of the furniture
