we dive from great heights
just to dent their concrete pride
matchstick men will fall from buildings
lit with the purpose of being extinguished
for on the wings of wealth our tyrants fly
high above the chaos
this is textbook chaos
a crooked signpost of pointing fingers
how long will the truth be bent this far
the belly of a lie must burst
with a nation dried up and fed up with thirst
and i, the sponge for their ringing inconsistancies
all ears and in agreement as we re-write history
for a lie can eclipse the truth you see
because the truth is, after all what we believe.
