The first thing you should know about Dover is that you don't ever
need to go there. If you need to go to France go by plane or via
the tunnel. If you insist on going on a boat then there are plenty
of other routes which will give you more than 1.5 hours of sea
sickness. Trust me when I say that you will save yourself one
of the miserable experiences ever.
Things to do in Dover :
Visit the castle,
Leave.
Unless you count laughing at the residents funny.
There are pubs but they are mostly harmful. There are two
very bad nightclubs. I was at one a few weeks ago and they
played Cher and Shania Twain. As groovy as a thing which is
not groovy.
I could go on but I can't be bothered.

Hi George! Sounds like Dover is dreadful...
BTW: More people will visit your page and be able to leave you messages there once you've gotten round to writing a short welcome message there. As it is now, you can't get any visitors because the page won't allow them in its default setting.

Like I said, Dover is bad. I could go on and even get serious
about the social issues casugin tension right now but I won't.
I've just written a little intro for my page. I now wait
for your prediction to come true and for my popularity
to spiral upwards and out of control.

Ooh, a bit harsh on Dover. Some of us manage to live there, you know, and stay reasonably sane - so it can't be that bad (maybe? - I'm trying to be upbeat) I think...

I live in dover (half the time, the other half is spent in St. Mags) too and I can't wait to leave the area. I've also lived in Manchester for a year, drink is half the price up there .
BTW Silencer has move pages (lost his registration email or something) he now lives at http://www.h2g2.com/U97729 .
Unfortunately he doesn't get much time online so its pretty deserted
Key: Complain about this post
