... I would like this site to be saved as much as the next bear and I'd have whole-heartedly supported the effort if anything slightly resembling a plan had been put forward by LMScott. There is an issue of trust but it has to be realistic. Anyway, nuff said.

I'm a little bit worried about this party now! Got a call from the venue to say no-one has stepped forward so far (this was about 19:45) so it's likely I'll be sent a bill for £60 room hire! As I'm in-between jobs (ok, on the dole at the moment) it's a bill I could do without.

I have personal reasons for not going (believe me though, if I could I would have) - and I expected maybe twenty percent drop out rate but it appears the only ones who have gone are the people who are flying in from Ireland and Scotland, and Kitty Red.

It's my own fault but I've had a lot on my mind recently so wasn't able to get final confirmations to see if venue still needed.
