After reading the WHY thread and your poem 'I stand corrected', I decided to revisit the Badger thread. There is such energy and sparkle amongst the contributions there - the people involved at worst had a better day because they joined in; and at best found new enthusiasm for their writing and created something special as a direct result of it.

I don't think Zoe's original comment on WHY? was directed solely at the Badger thread. There are plenty of other threads which started out serious then turned into late night chats - I see nothing wrong with that but obviously some don't like it. No one could complain about the badgers though (unless they're digging up your garden) since you titled the thread 'silliness', so folks who had 'better' things to write could simply steer clear.

Anyway, hope you've decided to stay, and next time your am-dram evenings inspire you to a running joke, be sure to start a thread about it, there are plenty of us (as you know) who'd appreciate it!

Sorry SB just realised I didn't answer your question yesterday, got too caught up in the politics of this site.

Busy weekend - son's birthday party and parents visiting, Xmas shopping with my mum. All good fun though.

Hope you're still hanging on in here! Looks to me like the storm is beginning to pass over now... Must admit though I feel slightly p**d off at Z** who started that thread which upset you and others, then she just ups and leaves. She could have just left if she was unhappy without starting all that aggro.

Oh well, all in the past now I hope. Will look for some more of your poems this evening, they always refocus me on the important things in life!
