Blogging makes the world go round

I have decided to succumb to the fad of blogging, for lack of better things to do with my h2g2 account, yes.
So, I dub thee, h2g2 journal, Eggie's Blog! *Waves magic Eggie wand, Journal transforms into a blog*
Unfortunately, I now know not what to write. And are there some sort of blogging guidelines I have to follow? Wot wot? Oy vey, this is harder than I thought. o.o;; First thing on Eggie's Big To Do List: Get interesting life. Second thing on Eggie's Big To Do List: Write about it regularly.
In any case, I suppose I can start small. Didn't do much today, aside from volunteering at my local library for three hours. After awhile the shelving can get numbing. Doesn't help when I fall off the step stool when shelving books on the tall shelves (*curses her shortness, not for the first time*). Pick up books, cart, alphabetize, put on shelves. Lather, rinse repeat. Sounds terrifically exciting, don't it, wot wot? I can't believe I actually wanted to be a librarian when I was little. Oh well, at least I get to be around ALL THOSE BOOKS! *goes into a paralytic coma at the thought of all that bound knowledge*
Found some cherries in the break room, at least. They were furry. I thought it wise not to ingest any.
Parents still berating me about studying for the SAT II. STUDYING! During the SUMMER! Is this not insane? I theenk I will go weep softly now.
Enihoo, that was my day in a nutshell.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
