It should be noted that beer is always too expensive; even stuff
that costs 50p a can is too expensive. Beer should be free as it is
the universal cure for the universal problem

Sam Smith's is the only bottled beer on sale in pint bottles at The Post Office and Off Licence in Pillerton Priors, Warks - £1.20, no deposit no return. Not as good as from the pump though!

pabst blue ribbon is a pretty bad beer, it's not even worth the dollar. Keystone light on the other hand is well worth it's$12 a case

Is Sam Smiths related to John Smiths? (Pray No)
It's not available North of the border as far
as I've seen. A good pint of McEwans 80-/ for
£1:54 in my local (See Glasgow Pubs entry)beats
most English Bitter (Oooh controversial).

Sam Smiths? Stella? I thought we were talking about beer. Very strange part of the galaxy where this stuff counts.
Beer is lovingly made not manufactured......

Castle Lager, £1.60 a bottle, currently on special at the the Southside Steamie, Edinburgh. I`m in heaven (until they do Staropramen!).
ps Possible source of contention - does lager count as beer?
